🐈‍⬛ I will always adopt the shadow babies because they often are euthanized in shelters, even when they’re young, due to lack of adoption which stems from people still being superstitious about black cats being bad luck.

🖤 Pet grief: it’s okay to grieve your pets deeply. Pets often times spend more time with us than other human beings do. They are there through all of life’s changes, growth, hard times, illness, success and the return we get is unconditional love. Love them hard while they’re here. Their time is limited but the return is exponentially greater than the pain when their time comes. Pets are family too, treat them as such.
