Greetings, i am Martha Washington, George Washington's wife.

Even though my only child from my previous marriage, Jacky, has grown up and started a family of her own, I still find fulfillment as a loving mother and grandmother.

In my free time I like to bake and knit.

I currently manage Mount Vernon with my husband. I cordially invite you for coffee (or tea) and something sweet.

But be careful, i may be tiny woman, but it's best not to mess with me.

Hello, I am Martha Washington. And you are Brad, right? My husband told me about you... before he left on business. He will be back in a while, but... is it true you found Emilia? I would love to see her. She is like a daughter to me. Is she safe and sound?

That is indeed me, pleased to meetcha. And yes I left her in the front yard, while I came to get you and your husband, but since he had to leave, well one parent is better that none.

He motioned for Martha to follow, before he began walking out of the house heading towards the front yard.

I'm sure she will be delighted to see you.

God, I was so worried about that poor child... We all searched for her, but to no avail. Do you know where she was? Why didn't she come back?

Just found her wandering around the woods, guess she was exploring. Either way she has been kept safe by the marshal and generals of the army, so I doubt anyone or anything with half a brain would harm her.

Partially Brad was amazed, she didn't question him or imply he was setting her into a trap, most people doubted him here made sense though considering he was a outsider.

And if they would well I think they'd be dealt with somehow...

I doubt Emilia would just go exploring and not tell us. Maybe she was kidnapped...?

She asked, but it was more of a rhetorical question. And her calm demeanor... Well, if her husband hadn't told her about Brad, she probably would have reacted differently. The most important thing to her right now was seeing her beloved daughter. And Brad, even though he looked different, was in a sense her savior... There will be time for other questions later.

If I could, I would give those Marshals a huge thank you for taking care of Emilia. And you, please accept my huge thanks as well. Mount Vernon is and will always be open to you.
