"Kai!!" You roared as you kicked the front door in, absolutely raged beyond reason. You had tackled your way through the guard he had put outside, a tiny armed guy with a buzzed head, he must've been new. You'd never seen him before but he didn't put up much of a fight so he must've seen you.
"Where is he?" You hissed at the first two boys with blue shirts you could see. You didn't bother waiting for the answer because you knew exactly where he was, downstairs in the gathering room. You stormed down the stairs while shouting his name. You saw red.
"Kai, you motherfucker!" You continued as you reached the end of the stairs and met his dark, brown eyes from across the room which by this point had turned completely silent. "You motherfucker..."
He looked at you with a counterfeit frown, you had known him long enough to read his facial expression like your own.
"Y/N, the fuck?" Kai said loudly, swinging his arms to the sides. "We're in the middle of an important meeting, you can't just..."
"The fuck I can't!" You interrupted and stared at him. He still had his suit on and hair up in a bun, which meant they had just returned from some official business, something you hadn't been informed about. Your rage grew with each second that passed.
"Everybody, OUT!" You shouted followed by a few seconds of silence and nervous eyes going back and forth between you and Kai. Kai stared at you with a clenched jaw, breathing heavily through his nose. Nobody moved a muscle.
"NOW!" You commanded again and people started moving. It didn't take long before the room was cleared out of Kai's followers. You shook your head in rage and started walking towards Kai with determined steps.
"You fucking liar" You whispered through clenched teeth and as you got close enough you raised your closed fists and started bashing them on his chest and, of course, he had no trouble stopping you.
"Stop, Y/N" He said calmly and got a hold of your wrists. "Let's talk like normal people, okey?"
His condescending tone made you even more furious and you managed to free your right hand and slapped him across his face, a bad move that would cost a normal member their life. Kai took a firm grip around your throat and pulled you closer to his face, you could feel his breath on your forehead.
"What the hell do you think you're doing, huh?" He hissed, his eyes were almost black from fury. You would've been afraid if it wasn't for the fact that you were equally as furious as him.
"You fucking lied to me, I trusted you." Your voice was shaking. "You said we were in this together and then you go behind my back and do stuff like this?!"
Kai's grip tightened around your throat and for a second you thought he'd lift you from the floor.
"I would never lie to you, I haven't done anything other than what we've discussed" He said and caressed your cheek with his finger.
"What about this little meeting and the meeting before this one? You didn't tell me about any of this" You continued with a smirk to make him pissed. “Maybe I should call a meeting without you knowing.”
“Y/N…” Kai was boiling. He loosened his grep around your throat, you both knew he would’ve killed you otherwise. You broke free from his grip and took deep breaths.
“You are on thin fucking ice right now…” Kai continued with his finger pointed in your face but you pushed his arm away while taking a step closer, challenging him, something that made him absolutely furious.
“No, you are on thin fucking ice, Kai. I should fucking kill you for what you’ve done, isn’t that what you would’ve done?” You stood your ground.
You weren’t just mad because of the ‘secret’ meetings that had occurred without your knowledge, there were a lot of things. You and Kai started this thing together but since a few weeks back something had changed. Stuff happened that were out of your control and new members started popping up out of nowhere without your consent. Kai was doing stuff behind your back, and that kind of betrayal was unacceptable in his book.
“You broke your most important rule, Kai. You lied to me, to me.”
“Then do it” Kai said with a straight face, taking one step closer to you. “Kill me.”
“Stop playing with me like that” You said, scoffing and frowning at him. "Why did you lie to me?"
"I didn't lie, Y/N, you're just being inattentive. You don't listen to me, that's the problem here" Kai said and stared deep into your eyes.
"I don't have to listen to you, we started this shit together and now you're pushing me away, shutting me out. You're a fucking asshole!" Your eyes started watering but you refused to show weakness in front of Kai, the one thing he despises.
"I'm doing this for you, to protect you" He mumbled through his teeth and cupped his hands around your face. "You know I'd kill for you. I'd never do anything to hurt you."
You were still furious but you knew he was right. He'd proven himself loyal to you time and time again.
"Come on, baby" Kai mumbled and kissed your cheek softly. "I love you."
When you first met Kai you were a virgin who hadn't had much experience with relationships. You fell in love with his intelligence, his way of thinking, the way he moved and spoke. Now you've been together for over 7 years, you've seen him change and how the election has brought out some sort of darkness inside of him. But you couldn't let him go, you were too deep in love.
"I love you too" You whispered and closed your eyes as his lips caressed yours.
