my employer should be so grateful i keep my art career and my day job separate bc if i write a zine about even a FRACTION of what i deal with at that job. oh it’d me over. a fun fact is i’ve been a supervisor for 3.5 years and i make $1.18 above minimum wage, which is apparently the highest wage in the store besides my general manager (mind you im still well below the poverty line) and my 2 male co-supervisors make $0.75 above minimum wage and my 1 female co-supervisor makes $0.23 above minimum wage even though she has the highest workload BY FAR. that’s interesting!! very interesting that the 3 men got their (very very small) yearly raises and the 1 woman didn’t……. hm….. you should definitely talk about your wages guys bc this is how we all found out there’s a fucking CRAZY wage gap at my workplace!!!!
