actually that game reminded me of a lil martin headcanon I have. namely that he likes to read a lot during the downtime of travelling from competition to competition, and a lot of it is instructional books covering different subjects. s'part of why he can often bring up detailed bits of info about various fields and aspects of the world at the drop of a hat
