At the start of last month I decided to try and start my own everyday project, with the aim of doing a sketch or creating something new every day. This came about for a number of reasons, main one being I need to push myself, try to learn and develop a new skillset (I mean it's all well and good knowing computer software inside out but someday the machines will take over... won't they?!) ;) It's something I have been putting on the long finger for a number of years now mainly for fear, fear of failure, fear of being judged, fear of leaving my design comfort zone - but you know what?... Fuck it! Right now I'm having fun again, I wake up and ponder what will I learn today? What will inspire me? What will be created? I have absolutely no idea where this path will take me and I could easily be drawing the exact same shit this time next year but I am learning, creating and enjoying the ride into the productive unkown! 😉😄 #fuckthefear #creative #pretentiouspost #notions #of #one #self
