The idea for this character came to my mind when I read about CWD (Chronic wasting disease). It seemed to me that the character is a beastman from BTD with such a disease, it's quite interesting.
So, in art, you can notice the different size of the pupils and the saliva on the lips, although the body looks healthy, which is typical for an infected deer.
The background is something like this. Belle came out onto the road as Strade was driving up to his house. He stopped, afraid that he had almost hit a deer, but in fact he was lucky to meet another beastman. Strade took Belle's almost complete immobility and lack of fear for audacity and feigned fearlessness, and therefore took her with him to give her to Ren as a toy, after all, he is a predator. However, it quickly became clear that Belle sometimes behaves fearlessly, not because she showed her character that way, but because she literally lost the ability to be afraid of anything due to illness. At the same time, she is still not completely a deer, but a beastman, which is why the disease manifests itself slowly and rather by random seizures which is why, having got to the Strade, she could be in a more or less sane mind for a long time before the disease turns her into a zombie. Unfortunately for Strade, her death will have absolutely nothing to do with him or Ren. At the same time, Strade will feel her pain from the brain-damaging disease all the time, and this will frighten him, despite the fact that Belle is still a victim.
