Maru sits up on the table "she" had just been laying on for a long while. "Her" system was in need of its annual check up and maintenance causing "her" to be offline for a while. Part of this process includes updating how "her" body moves or operates to fit anything "she's" learned, such as emotions "she" may have picked up or even to be more capable of completing jobs "she" learned about but did not have the means to complete before the upgrade.

It must be hard leaving "her" upgrades and maintenance up to what "her" home lab and software are capable of without someone there to guide it along but Maru doesn't complain about such things.

The first thing "she" does when "she" slides off the table is play around in search of anything that's new about "herself".

"May I be of assistance to either of you this day?" "She" asks not bringing up the resemblance they bare.

Maru looks this newcomer over giving a small tilt of her head in curiosity. This new bot "she" was staring at had drills for hands.... "She" had not yet encountered a being that lacked hands.

"She" realizes "her" staring may be considered rude and immediately remedies it by making eye contact with this new being. "Query. May I assist you with anything this day?"

Maru stares at this somewhat scary being before "her". "She" seems unafraid though that's to be expected of a bot who has yet to learn emotion.

"Query. May I be of assistance to you?" Asks the young bot as "she" patiently awaits a response.

"No, I’ve not," he admitted, and that was the truth. He had seen robots before, sure, and even encountered a few "androids" in his more secret line of identity theft, but this girl—robot, he mentally reminded himself—was much more advanced than what he’d been exposed to prior. “You must be one of a kind, or hard to come by.” Dan* noted how the robot asked questions, and it almost seemed like her eyes would flicker as new information was received. Robots, he found, were generally programmed with a set amount of information, but her queries told him that she was able to learn as well. There was another silence from him as he mused her potential advanced programming. A nervous laugh and smile, he approached the robot slowly, “ah, before I come across as being even more impolite… my name is Dan*.” His hand instinctively rose, but began to wonder if the gesture of a handshake was in her data. Regardless, Dan* kept his arm outstretched as he continued. “What do I call you?”

Maru seems almost intrigued, as intrigued as "she" can appear to be anyway, when you say you have not come across others like "her". "Statement. I am sure there must be others like me." "She" seems to be reassuring herself of that more than Dan*.

The young bot stares at Dan*s outstretched hand. For a moment it would seem like "she" did not understand what the gesture was but after a second or two of awkward silence "she" slowly reaches a hand out to meet his. Perhaps "she" was searching for the information of what the gesture meant? "I am called Maru, sir. I apologize for failing to introduce myself in the first place."

At this moment a small beeping sound comes from behind Maru. "She" had forgotten about "her" energy levels recharging.

He looks a bit startled, only noticing her when she first speaks. “Hm? Oh um,” Gray’s not really sure what she’s talking about, and he’s a bit distracted by the new setting. He shrugs at her, but smiles a bit. “Um, if we are, it’s probably coincidence.”

"She" doesn't press the question further though that's only because Gray appeared confused and in need of some help. "Query. You are confused of your whereabouts?"

Maru stares at Grays' face when he smiles. "She" had not updated "her" knowledge on facial expressions though "she" has seen a few different ones. "She" silently wondered if she was capable of doing such a thing as "she" moves "her" gaze away from Grays to glance about the room for something that would show ones reflection.

"Welcome. May I assist you?" Maru stares at this newcomer for a moment as if looking them over. Her eyes stare at the newcomers hands and "she" finds herself glancing at her own studying how similar they were.

"Query. You are similar in appearance to me?"

"Room temperature increased." Maru stares at this newcomer unsure what to make of them. "She" had not seen a being such as this thus far. "May I assist you?"

"Welcome, may I be of assistance to you?" Maru takes but a moment to search for information on Farfalla. "She" comes up empty handed apart from the outfit this newcomer wears being similar to that of a nurse. "Her" conclusion is that this newcomer must be a medic of some kind.

Though he watched her pull the power source out, there was no discernible change in his expression. He remained quite calm in fact. “…ya really don’t need to apologize, from the sound of things, you ain’t been active long.”

He began to look around the room more carefully. There was no telling how large the building was, but getting out shouldn’t be much of a hassle. Or, so he hoped. It was the finding home part that might be cause for trouble. “…an’ if you want to tag along, that’s up to you, I don’t care much either way,” he noted, as he started to walk for the nearest door.

Maru watches Rock glance around the room. She had already begun putting her shirt back on now that she was free of the cable that she had removed when he started moving for the door.

"She" had not expected him to be in such a hurry. With "her" shirt on again "she" gives the room a quick once over for anything useful to "her" before going after Rock.

"Her" quick search gained "her" what looked to be a one strap backpack that would appear to be made more durable and sturdy than your average bag, Some tools that "she" recognized would be helpful if "she" or anything else robotic needed some repairs, what looked to be a small cube but seemingly with no purpose..."she" had grabbed it merely because "she" felt it was important but was unsure as to why, a few different small cables neatly folded up and tied to stay organized, and lastly....some sort of discs "she" had found laying about the lab.

"She" did not have time to inspect these items too closely as "she" had to catch up to Rock but "she" was sure each item "she" took was important.
