hey :) maybe you could do something where the reader is quarantined with peter parker at the avengers compound and they have to stay up to submit all their assignments for the week at 11:59 on Friday night because they are fools and spent too much time messing around in the lab and didn't do any of their work for the week. they really just go feral on a caffeine induced speedrun through everything they neglected to do.

“You know, maybe this isn’t so bad.”
You stared blankly at Peter as the words came out of his mouth.
“Are you serious? The world is practically ending and Tony isn’t letting us go home.” You said, but before Peter could speak you continued. “And we’re stuck doing school work all night!” Peter rolled his eyes at you. How could this get any worse, you thought.
The two of you were in the kitchen trying to get your school work done after you two had got...sidetracked… in the lab which led you to stress out.

“Peter! Please just do one TikTok with me!” You pleaded. Peter looked over to you and saw your phone set up on some books pointing at you. He took a deep breath, then walked over to you.
“Y/n you know that I can’t do these dances, they keep getting harder and harder-”

You were leaning against Peter as he was playing animal crossing. You two were sitting on the floor of the lab, you both already ran out of ideas for things to do, so you decided to watch Peter play some games.
“You’re really bad at that you know.” You commented as he got stuck by wasps for the 5th time.
“Well you don’t have to tell me that.” He grumbled as he slouched down further.

“Y/nnnnn I’m so bored, can we please do something, anything?” Peter complained again.
“I don’t know what you want to do, I’m all out of ideas.”
He looked around the lab before he checked his phone. When he saw the time he almost dropped his phone out of his hands.
“Y/n, I hate to tell you, but it’s 9:47…”
You whipped your head around so fast Peter thought you gave yourself whiplash.
“What?! We still have so much work to do!” You exclaimed before you sprinted up the stairs to the kitchen where your school work remained untouched for the past few hours.

Peter stood in front of the coffee maker, wondering how to actually make some for the both of you while you tried to get as much work done as quickly as you could. Peter turned to face you, and he could see your eyes bouncing back and forth reading the words on your laptop screen.
“What does this even mean, ‘How does the reaction change throughout the experiment.’ it literally doesn’t even do anything so how does this make any sense.” You groaned and put your head in your hands.
“Maybe this wasn’t a good idea.” Peter spoke quietly as he watched you struggle.
if you guys couldnt tell, i havent posted something in months, i don’t know how many people actually still my blog? i still see people actively reading my works but yk
it makes me sad in a way, to go back and read through my work and replies, comments, asks and stuff
i feel bad, i kinda left without really saying anything, but i want to write again, or at least a little bit because of whats all going on right now

a/n; something small i’m working on something nice for the one year anniversary of this blog, i also missed my bedtime by two hours and my phones been screaming at me to sleep
Having a kid is hard, but being a single parent is harder. Explaining to your 6 year old son that the reason mommy and daddy aren’t together anymore is the hardest. At least the two of you were still somewhat friends.
Here you are, a few weeks after the break, struggling to open your apartment door while holding boxes and trying to keep your son from running down the hall.
Trying to jam the keys in the keyhole didn’t work. They slipped and fell to the floor, which you responded to sighing and leaning your forehead on the door.
You grunted as you switched the boxes to your other hand while looking for your son.
“(s/n), can you grab the keys on the ground and open the door for daddy?”
A cough, that definitely didn’t come from (s/n) caught your attention. You turned your head and saw a tall man.
“Hey, you look like you could use some help?” He asked.
You slowly moved in front of (s/n). He looked up at you, confused.
“Uh yea, but you are..?” You asked the man.
He let out an “oh” before he started to explain himself.
“My name’s Steve, uh Steve Rogers. I live right here-” he pointed to the apartment across from yours. “I just came home and I noticed that the new neighbor was finally moving in, just wanted to see if you needed some help.”
You nodded a little, then motioned for him to grab one of the boxes you were holding. As the two of you slowly cared all your things from the moving truck into your apartment, the more you learned about each other.
You learned that he was Captain America (we’re not going to talk about how you missed that obvious fact when you first met him) and he learned that you work at the coffee shop around the corner.
The later it got the more Steve realized how much he seemed to be overstaying his welcome. He doesn’t remember when he sat down with you and your son, eating a make-shift dinner.
He offered to do the dishes, but you declined, saying that you need to teach your son how to do them anyways.
As he made his way to the front door, you pushed a few boxes towards (s/n) to start unpacking while you walked with Steve to the front door. You stepped outside with him, keeping your foot in the door so it wouldn’t close completely.
“Honestly thank you, it was really nice of you to help.” He gave you a small smile.
“I don’t mind, I had fun.” You both stared at each other for what seemed like minutes before you spoke again.
“Do you wanna go for coffee sometime? I mean, not the shop I work at, we can go to a different one. I just-” He cut you off before you could continue.
We’re almost the same age and it’s so weird to find ppl writing fics who are 14/15 y/o. Like I stopped writing when I was like twelve bc I was rlly insecure and I’m too scared to start again. Im just rlly happy for you 🖤🖤🖤
awh, dont be scared! i started writing when i was 11 and it was all bad, going back i hate what i wrote but you have to get started somewhere. everyone gets insecure about their writing, i do, a lot. i see so many other writers that are so much better than what i write, so just gotta take a chance.

“So if you get to my apartment at 5:45, we can be at the movies by 6:00.” Peter excitedly explained his plan for your next date. The two of you are standing by his locker, waiting for the final bell to ring so you could leave.
It was Friday so Peter was trying to plan a nice date, he said you two deserve it after not seeing each other as much because you both had finals to study for.
Everything was going pretty good until Ned and MJ stopped by his locker too. See, the three of you did not get along. They often told Peter that you really didn’t care for him, which was total bullshit.
“Listen Peter, we really care about you, but (y/n) doesn’t seem like the best boyfriend” Ned whispered to Peter in the hallway at school to make sure nobody else would hear them.
Peter gave Ned a weird look. “Wha’d you mean? We went on a date last night and he was fine?”
MJ grumbled a little and rolled her eyes, “Ned, he won’t listen.” Peter looks between them, obviously confused.
“What we mean is he never hugs you, or hold your hand. He’s mean to everyone else and he’s cold. He only seems to be nice to you and we think somethings up.” Ned explained quietly. The three of them stared at you where you were standing.
You were leaned against the lockers surrounded by the football jocks. You aren’t on the team but you still hang out with them after you quit a few years back. They three can tell that you don’t look excited to be there, as anytime the boys ask you a question they are met with a glare.
You made eye contact with MJ on accident, you turned to the boys and said some excuse why you were leaving but they all knew you were going to talk to Peter.
“Hey babe, we’re gonna go get ice cream after school so meet me by my car” You stated before giving Peter an awkward side-hug. Ned and MJ gave each other a knowing look.
Sure you aren’t the best at giving and shit but you still loved him. You heaved out a sigh as soon as they were close enough to hear.
“Well Pete, i’m gonna head out before I get lectured about how i’m not good enough for you.” You glared at the two of them as you walked by.
Peter huffed as he watched you walk off and around the corner. MJ and Ned both sighed, as they knew what was coming.
“I just don’t know why you guys hate him.”
MJ closed her eyes, took a deep breath, then open them again. “Peter you know why, out of all the relationships in school what is one thing you notice that (y/n) doesn’t do that everyone else does?”
MJ shook her head when Peter was quiet for too long. “He doesn’t give you affection, like ever.”
You were walking back to Peter’s locker to tell him that you would be a little late because you had to help you mom with grocery shopping. That’s when you heard MJ.
Not going to lie you were a little offended, I mean, sure you aren’t the most affectionate person but Peter still knew you loved him right?
You turned back and walked out of the school, forming a plan in your head

Peter noticed something off about you when you came of his apartment. You pulled him into a hug, which he just brushed off as you missing him. It still didn’t explain it though because you just saw Peter at school a few hours before.
The two of you were on your way to the movies when you reached over and grabbed Peter’s hand.
To your surprise, Peter let go and turned to you. “Okay, what’s going on with you.”
You took your eyes off the road for a second to look at him before turning back. “What do you mean?”
Peter’s eyes narrowed as he stared at you. “You know what, why have you been. . . more clingy?”
You gave a lopsided grin, then glanced the other way. “I heard MJ talkin’ to you about how I don’t show enough affection.
The look on Peter’s face when you said that, it broke your heart. “I don’t want you to change because of what they said, I love you how you are..” Peter whispered. “I get it, you have boundaries and I don’t wanna push you.”
On the next day of school, no one noticed how you and Peter were standing a few feet apart from each other, but they did notice Peter’s huge smile and your small grin.
The pair of you stopped at Peter’s locker when MJ and Ned were. MJ glared at you and before any of them could say anything, you kissed Peter on the cheek.
