Hello. :-)

My name is Mary Anne Russell-Stoker. I am a 47 year old woman in the great state Wisconsin. I grew up in Ellicot City, Maryland, and moved to Wisconsin to attend Concordia University in 1992. Go Falcons! 😂

I decided to stay in this beautiful little city called Milwaukee when I met my own Prince Charming, Thomas. We are going strong in our 20 year marriage with 3 beautiful kids. 🤩🤩🤩

I'm considering making this a "lifestyle blog" to share recipes and fun family moments, as well as motherly wisdom for anyone willing to hear an old woman out. 🤣 I am also a small business woman who sells candles, soaps, and monogrammed textiles, so you may see some of that as well.

My son enjoys Japanese Anime quite a bit. I asked him some questions about this, but he was hesitant to share his new hobby with me. Sometimes when I walk by his room I can see that he is watching it, but he often closes the window when he notices I am near. I am worried I have done something to make him think I am not interested in the things he enjoys.

Do my #followers have any suggestions of Animations I could watch to help bond with my son? Or perhaps anymore information on this fascinating subculture?

My Hero Academia is very popular and also interesting :) my personal favorite is The disasterous life of Saiki K!! its on Netflix.com :) Little Witch Academia is also good and also on Neftlix.com !  enjoy watching <3

Thank you for the insight. I'm sure this is not the type of thing he is looking at. He is just a bit shy with his interests at times. I believe the other kids at school have not always been kind to him. He often reacted the same way about his love of My Little Pony. I understand some might think it's strange, but it really is a very wholesome and funny TV show.

Having a lovely time out with Helen! :-) It’s Girl’s Night today! We will be having lovely spa treatments, getting massages, then we have also rented a hotel room for the evening to get some quality girl time!
