Going to the Movies
We have not been to the movies for quite some time - not since 2012. So we were quite surprised at the changes that have been made for your viewing pleasure. The theater had reclining leather chairs that are nicer than my couch. And more comfortable. It's really a testament to the movie that I didn't fall asleep!
We saw Into the Woods which was amazing! I had never seen it so I had no idea what to expect. It was a lovely 2 1/2 hours :) I plan to go see lots of movies at this theater (the Cinemark in Hazlet) and I expect my chair to be free for them all.
It was pouring tonight as we took the guys for the final walk. We decided that a) we wouldn't melt; 2) we could come home and dry off; & iii) it wasn't snow. So we enjoyed the light show (lots of lightning) and stamped in every puddle we could find.

We were supposed to get this guy (nephew #1) for a few days in June while his parents went to a wedding out of state. We found out yesterday that they are now taking him with them and our visit is cancelled. Their reasoning for including him in the trip are very valid and I don't blame them for it - but it sucks nonetheless. I really wish they lived closer than Baltimore!

I had a dream last night that my mother was worried about my choices in reading material. She told me "It's my fault for not making you broaden your horizons when you were younger. I should have given you other things to read besides fairy tales. Now you won't take any of my suggestions. When I propose books to my tennis group, I get emails by lunchtime telling me how good the books are."
This is ridiculous because a) my mother would NEVER try to tell me what to read or care what I was reading (especially since I read anything I can get my hands on); 2) the thought of my mother at a tennis group, or any kind of group, is ludicrous - fine for others, so not her thing!; and III) she feels exactly the same as I do about fairy tales.
Since I am in the middle of my fourth book by the same author, Mercedes Lackey (whom I adore), I think this is my subconscious trying to tell me to branch out a bit. Step away from the fantasy books, Mary Beth!
So, my question for you is what book should I read next? Have one that you loved and would recommend to anyone? Please share!
I love the color, the white trim - just love!
Would love to have this as part of my kitchen! Or any part of the house for that matter:)
