Once when, Jeremy's team stayed over, their Medic told me that his tea preferences were "anything or everything", and so I let him make his own. I think he had at least five teabags in there.

I had a memory about my second oldest.

It's not of him, but his dog tags. He was a marine, and he was KIA. I miss Jack so much. I want my son back.

This memory was actually one of my first

I went out to the garden one morning to get some vegetables for lunch. Some of the extended family was coming over so i needed a lot.  When I got out to the garden, I found Jeremy there, sitting in the dirt wearing his rabbit hoodie and chewing on a leaf.  He was around four years old then, and I had made him that hoodie for cold nights when he wanted to sit outside and run around. When I asked him what he was doing, he smiled and said he was playing bunnies with his imaginary friends.

Here's a memory i got last night, about my littlest kid.

One day, sometime in the evening, I gave Jeremy my old softball bat from when I used to play. I told him that, as long as he doesn't hit his brothers with it, he could keep it.

His face lit up, and I had never seen him that happy since before his father left. Jeremy was about 10 at the time, so this must've been when he was 12.

He thanked me, then grabbed the baseball off of his nightstand. He ran out of the room, and I heard him telling his older brother Terrance about the bat and asking if he'd be the pitcher.
