got advice for new artists?

oh For sure! Hello new artists or nnewer artists or returning artists who may read this!! 1.eat food, take meds, take breaks, Do nothing, live. an artist who tries to solely do nothign but create will hate cretaing in time, you must have it be somehting fun you do outside oyur life which you must live, idc if oyu draw while you eat or watch shows or w/e jus tknow that you need to stay healthy and know how to take breaks

2. the basics are good but not the whoel picture an artist creating thigns will have a prefernce for shapes or may want to draw like scribbles and liek anime and w/e and they should. Wanitng to emulate rela life is cool but projecting your perosnal view and skilsl onto somethign is more fun usually <3

3. dont' get hung up on perfection. learn shortcuts, leanr skills, learn how to make somhting look a way you like, try weird art ideas oyu think of like me suddenly wanitng ot make a maplestory sprite of my character Chelsi and *NOW I know how to do pixel art abit better!* it's not perfect but it's fun and thats what mmatters

4. remakes ar eokay. If you see some old art and oyu wan tot try again, do it!! do that and you'll see how much you improve! !! seeing improvement befor eoyu gives oyu hype and thats cool1!!

5. INPIRATION FROM YOUR LOVES!! if something makes oyu happy, if you like katamari demacia, if you liek rhythm heaven, panty and stocking, whatever!1 Draw some stuff liek that!1 learnign soemthign you dislike cna improve your skills in art but dont' spend hours drawing somehting you disliek eveyr day just to "get good"
