the revolution will be broadcast to every screen in every country in the world, every fine detail available for scrutiny at a moment's notice

the level of concern for optics required for a "revolution" in today's age is entirely alien to pinkos. it's why Plan B was to hold tight control over the flow of information itself... which only works as long as you can actually maintain that control.

as you know, I watch Boomerang a lot, and I've developed strong opinions on the Scooby-Doo franchise

the two best iterations are "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?" and "What's New, Scooby-Doo?". the two Platonic ideals, the ones that execute everything as well as possible

there's three others (that don't deviate too far from the original premise) that are worth their salt, though:

"Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo" is actually good. this is when Scrappy was introduced, before he was ran into the ground. the whole gang's here, so it's basically just the first run but with a new character

"Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?" is also good. it's pretty similar to "What's New", but every episode is a spotlight/cameo for a celebrity or famous character. it's like if "The New Scooby-Doo Movies" was actually good. however, it definitely benefits from actually knowing who the hell the episode is featuring, and many of the choices are somewhat obscure

"Be Cool, Scooby-Doo" is wackier and more surreal than the rest of the franchise, but outside of the bootleg Family Guy art style, it's actually good? I think?

"banned books" are always an amusing topic to me. normally this makes you think of books that are genuinely illegal to own somewhere (be it The Anarchist's Cookbook or The Turner Diaries), right?

but 98% of discourse is about some slop removed from a few libraries that you can readily buy on Amazon. exceptionally legal books.
