A whole new year!

So it’s now 2018 (Or at least it is in the UK) so HAPPY NEW YEAR! This is a time to look back at 2017 and think about how your year was. Think of it as a way on how you can make 2018 better or use it as a way to improve yourself!

Five things to do to step into the Christmas spirit

So December is here so it’s cool to celebrate now and here’s five things to do so you can get into the Christmas spirit! 1) First get your Christmas tree out and set it up in your living room or whatever room of your home you’d put it in. And then decorate it with your ornaments, baubles and other Christmas themed decorations on the branches, maybe even tinsel, lights or both too, before finishing it up with the final touch on top maybe a star or an angel or something else you might prefer. 2) Second decorate the rest of your home! Christmas ornaments of a nice wreath for your front door, Christmas lights anywhere you feel best around the house, garland, Snow globe, and much more. If you have a garden like I don’t get some flashy Christmas lights and various other Christmas decorations for outdoors. 3) Third go driving around at night with friends or family or both if possible and see how many houses with gardens are set up with Christmas lights and see how many you can find even make a fun little game out it maybe. 4) Fourth stay at home with a nice Christmas film maybe Elf, the Grinch or the Snowman as some examples and sit down nice and relaxed by the fire, heater or just snuggle in a nice warm blanket with a hot chocolate with marshmallows, whipped cream and a candy cane or whatever drink of your preference and be in your favourite pair of pyjamas. You might even do this with friends or family. 5) Lastly unless you’ve done the job of getting gifts for your loved ones already that might be something to focus on. Once the gifts have been brought wrap them up in wrapping paper or put in a bag before going to give it to them. Also if a friend or family member tries to snoop on their present too early find a good hiding place or buy something like a safe if possible.

The Good Place Review season 1

So on Netflix there’s this series called the Good Place and seen Season 1 spoilers ahead.

So Eleanor dies and apparently goes to ‘The Good Place’ introduced to Michael who’s like the mayor of this ‘Neighbourhood’ who introduces her to her new life there.

She meets Chidi her supposed soulmate well her friends Tahani and her silent monk soulmate Jianyu but he’s actually a DJ called Jason. So Jason’s hiding the truth because like Eleanor he’s not supposed to be there he’s not a monk but well Eleanor’s name is right the information on her they have is wrong.

Crazy things happen which they believe is Eleanor’s guilt like ginormous flying shrimp in the sky and other things. Sometime later Jason reveals himself to Eleanor and Chidi has to teach them both good ethics.

Tahani eventually is like Eleanor’s bestie but is trying her best to be well known even trying to get her soulmate to speak. Eventually Eleanor comes clean after a sink hole and other travesties caused by Eleanor’s guilt.

Michael calls in people from ‘The Bad Place’ who even have their own Janet like an AI that does everything for them in the Good Place but usually known for insults in the Bad Place. They bring the real Eleanor and the Eleanor they’ve grown to love says goodbye before going but Michael thanks to Chidi stops the train.

They try to talk this out well Tahani finds out the truth about Jason from his personal man cave which he claimed was for meditation but how snacks, posters and games. Tahani and the main Eleanor argue over Chidi since they fallen for him but he’s confused since the real Eleanor is supposed to be his soulmate and is lost about it.

Janet is nice to everyone due to her programming and Jason falls for her so they get married. So by Tahani’s suggestion to save Eleanor before a judge arrives she is to somehow make over one million and two hundred thousand points on doing good to stay there and she has minus four thousand points.

In the end after giving love advice to Chidi since Tahani’s party didn’t work Eleanor realises her motivation to be good is for self-worth so she’s not getting points so thanks to Janet and Jason fleeing since she loves Jason and doesn’t want to be reprogrammed flees to ‘The Medium Place’ where they meet Mindy who was horrible but she made this charity plans before she died and both sides wanted her so made the Medium Place.

Mindy a former lawyer who lives alone was there explaining how that happened to her when the judge claimed they must return or Chidi and Tahani will go to the Bad Place instead of them. Using Bad Janet to talk to the good Janet. Mindy recommends staying even Jason agrees but Eleanor hurries back even convincing Jason to give the all go for his wife to send them back.

They return too late but two people must goal they argued but then Eleanor had a shocking realisation about the Good Place. It’s actually the Bad Place everyone’s actors and actresses for Michael’s plans except those four. They were to torture each other also Janet and Jason married wasn’t the plan. Also ‘the real Eleanor’ is called Vicky.

So Michael declares he’s going to erase their memories and do it all over again and gets is signed off by Shawn one of the higher ups. So Eleanor writes something on a page in Chidi’s book tearing out the page and shoving it in Janet’s mouth.

Eleanor was a very horrible person in her life, Jason did a lot of illegal things in his life, Chidi was horrible to those closest to him and Tahani well she did great things but for self-worth to make her parents proud and try and be better than her sister.

So Eleanor is back restating this again with a new soulmate who’s this attractive guy actor. Once he’s gone Janet gives her the paper telling herself to find Chidi but she has no idea what’s going on. After that is season 2…

So my favourite moment was probably the marriage of Janet and Jason I honestly found it hilarious at the wedding but through time I came to love that couple and they were cute and great.

Overall I love this series and I’m ready to dig my teeth into season 2.
