To say she had trouble walking that night would be an understatement , even more on account of her drinking a little more than usual . While late night antics are better suited behind closed doors she felt she could handle herself without Iris getting involved . She learned fairly quickly that she in fact , could not . Had Leonardo not been there she would've gotten into trouble ; if not ended up on the front cover of today's newspaper .

leo brightened up when he heard that she was doing better than the previous night.

"good, you had me worried there for a moment," knowing just how badly the other was keeping herself balanced, leo knew that he needed to get involved or things could have taken a turn for the worse. "do you need anything? water maybe? i think we have some pain killers as well somewhere around here.."

storms never stopped them in the past from patrolling the city, but with the hail that came with the rain, leo knew it wouldn't be safe if the two of them went out tonight. but instead of taking this as a bad thing, leo had a smile on his face.

leo wasn't new to this whole--different dimension turtles thing--so that wasn't the thing that startled him. it was the fact that the other had shown up like this with cuts and bruises all over his person.
