4/5 Under eye skin feels refreshed after use but I don’t see any effect on dark circles. What’s cool that when I put this patch on I don’t feel like a mummy like it’s with all face mask sheet. These patches are a good solution for the morning rush.

SHISEIDO Aqualabel Reset White Mask

An intensive whitening care mask that targets the root of pigmentations and spots by soothing skin inflammation found near them and inhibits excessive melanin production and brightens skin from within by removing dead skin cells and excess melanin.

4/5 Good one, but nothing magical. If I came across discount for these, will buy, but it’s not to die for product. Mask cotton is thick, fits good on the face. Feels light no sliminess afterwards. Personally don’t like the smell, it smells like alcohol. Don’t see the skin even effect, though skin feels nice after use. I use face wash, emulsion and night cream from this aqualabel blue series. However mask is not a favorite one from the line.

3/5 Nice but not impressive. Face was kinda slimy afterwards, but it felt like some kind of protective barrier. I think best to use it to protect skin from environmental damage, cold weather and so on.

Use in cosmetics:

Snail slime is currently used in human cosmetics. Snail slime was traditionally used medicinally from Ancient Greece to the Middle Ages internally against gastrointestinal ulcers, and in the form of syrup, to soothe a cough. Snail slime has also been used by the Bamiléké people of Cameroon to treat burns.

Snail slime is commercially obtained from the common garden snail species Helix aspersa, which produces a secretion rich in proteins of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and antioxidants. The secretion of the snail supposedly has a double function when applied to human skin: on one hand it is claimed to stimulate the formation of collagen, elastin and dermal components that repair the signs of photoaging and, second, is claimed to minimize the damage generated by free radicals that are responsible for premature skin aging.

Snail slime varies in appearance and quality according to the environmental conditions, season, and food sources used by the snails. These factors supposedly determine the quality of the slime and therefore the properties of a product made with it.

5/5 Will buy again. Smells nice with rich texture. Perfect for cold weather and for dry or mixed skin. Made my skin look smooth, healthy and happy.

5/5 One of my fav. Very light one and smells fresh (the scent reminds me of fresh cucumber). Evens skin tone. Perfect for summer, but I use it all year round.

Mugwort is a common name for several species of aromatic plants in the genus Artemisia.

It’s legal ceremonial herb used by witches and new-age types to enter a slight altered state of consciousness.

In traditional Japanese, Korean and Chinese medicine mugwort is used for a wide variety of health issues. The herb can be placed directly on the skin, attached to acupuncture needles, or rolled into sticks and waved gently over the area to be treated. Better don’t try this at home.
