Maki blows out a short breath only to hold her breath while in thought. She disliked the fact that she was seriously considering this. This guy was a fool, no way he would actually keep his word. She tells herself that but- “Fine, I’ll do it.” She breathes in again, sort of disappointed with her answer. Though, Maki wanted to get out of this sick place as it reeked with murder. “What even kind of rule is that? If I killed I would probably end up getting caught by Shuichi and executed.”
Maki crosses her arms and gives him a cold gaze. She still didn’t trust him and he probably didn’t trust her either… What was the point of this whole ‘teaming up’ thing? It was probably a game to the Supreme Leader and she was playing right into his hands.
She plays with her hair a little while in thought. “If we’re going to make this work, we would need to trust each other first of all. I am probably an idiot for even agreeing to something like this so don’t make me regret it… Unless you have a death wish. I wouldn’t mind granting it, especially somebody as annoying like you.” As cold and blunt as always, Maki. “I really don’t care if you lie to the others and I won’t tell the others. They would go berserk if they knew about this.” The group was always so dramatic… Well, it was to be expected when you could die any minute.
“Well… If we’re working together, wouldn’t we need some place to meet up first?” Having a headquarters is very important, after all.

He was aware that would probably piss her off. But maybe that was his plan, after all, he wanted to test her limits. He wanted to know how far he could take her patience. He wanted to see, if she really was more than an emotionless killer beneath that facade. He looked up at her, hopping from one leg to the other while thinking. Yeah, this was gonna be complicated.
