Madison looked back at him and she scooted closer on the couch. “You can kiss me if you want to” She said softly as she sat next to him and looked up through her lashes. Madi bit her bottom lip and she put her hand on his leg. Madi was nervous as hell but right now she was sure of what she wanted and it was him.

Mason cocked an eyebrow at his twin sister and placed his hand behind her neck,”You sure?” He asked, not wanting her to be uncomfortable. When Mason got the okay, he pulled her gently into his lap and kissed her. Not like the first time. This was different. This kiss was more.

“Since 8?” She asked raising her eyebrows. “Thats…a really long time Mason” She said a little surprised. She couldnt imagine him having to go through this scared feelings for all these years. Madison felt her heart jump when he basically told her he loved her. She moved her hand to his and held it. “Mason, …thats the thing. I don’t want to drop this” She said looking into his eyes. Maybe it was a twin thing but she wanted to get the message across without saying it. She wanted to have him kiss her again because she couldnt take it any longer.

Mason shrugged lightly as he looked at Madison,”I just got used to hiding it. I mean I couldn’t tell you because it scared me. Especially at first.” He took a deep breath in and raised his eyebrow,”You seemed like you wanted to drop it at the time..” He caught on finally and smiled,”Come here. Come closer, Mads.” He whispered to her with a semi-smirk on his face.

“I’m not shutting you at mase, I’m just freaked out.” She said softly. “Part of me doesnt care at all and I should just do what I want to do. But part of me is scared” She told him honestly. Madison sighed. “How long has it been since this started Mason” She asked frowning a bit. “I wish you would have told me sooner or something.” Madison still had her hand on his arm and she squeezed gently. Did he know that she might want this too?

He nodded softly and pursed his lips together lightly,”I completely understand it. Every last little bit of it. Trust me.” He thought back to the time when he first started having feelings for his sister,”I want to say probably grade 8.. When I accidentally walked in on you changing. So a few years now. I should have but like you, I was scared. Those feelings just continued to get stronger. I love you, like a sister and beyond that. Beyond anything else. It’s fucking scary to think about that.” He couldn’t believe he had told her. He felt her small squeeze and he smiled slightly,”If you don’t want any part of this, I’ll drop it and move on.” Mason was generally clueless as to what Madi’s feelings were.

“Mase…” Madison could feel the hurt in his voice but what he didn’t realize was she was feeling it too.  “Mase thats not exactly what I meant. I know this is wrong but…I can’t stop thinking about it. I can’t stop. Its like you’ve taken over my every thought and all I want to do is….” She paused for a moment. “It scares the hell out of me that I might feel the same.” She said as she reached out to him, putting her hand on his arm. “I shouldnt…but maybe I do” She said as she looked over at her brother.

Mason looked at the female and blinked,”It sounded like you were basically shutting me out is what I heard. But maybe my ears are just playing tricks on me.” He murmured biting his lower lip,”You know what I’ve been thinking about since these feelings started? It’s practically 24/7 Madi. Trust me, if I didn’t think it was wrong, would I have pushed the thoughts to the back of my brain?” He asked, raising an eyebrow.

Madison climbed over the couch and sat next to him. He seemed nervous and Madison would be lying if she said she wasn’t either. “Um….Mason you kissed me.” She said shaking her head. “You’re my brother and I just…I kinda freaked out but…now I can’t stop thinking about it.” Madison looked at her hands and then back at Mason. “This is wrong” She said. “I shouldnt be thinking about you like that. You’re my brother and my best friend.” She sighed. Madison had no idea what she wanted or what she was even saying. She couldn’t even remember now why she wanted to talk with him. Maybe this was a mistake. Maybe they just should have forgotten about it and moved on.

Mason raised an eyebrow and liked his lips lightly as he looked down, listening to what his sister had to say. He could sense the awkwardness in the room and he wasn’t sure what to make of it. Their parents were once again on a “business” trip and had left Madi and Mason alone. This could have gotten more awkward. He pulled his knees into his chest as he looked at her,”I know the feeling all too well. Trust me, it sucks. Look, I know that you are not into me like that but like I’d be more than okay with just not talking about it again cause frankly, this conversation is kind of wounding me.” He said with a shaky voice.

Madison was in her room and she was freaking out about talking to Mason about all this. It was obvious they had both been avoiding each other. They were always so close and the past couple weeks had been torture not being around him. He was her brother afterall. God he was her brother! This was all so wrong! SO wrong. But Madison couldnt help but imagine. She would be lying if she said her hand didn’t slip between her legs at night when she was thinking about it. Going downstairs to the basement she found Mason laying on the couch and she smiled and walked over to him behind the couch. “hey” She said leaning over to see him.

Mason turned over to see his female counterpart standing over him. He sat up and took a deep breath in, closing his eyes for a split second,”You wanted to talk?” He questioned, patting next to him for his twin sister to sit down next to him. He pursed his lips as her glanced at her. He honestly couldn’t help look at her. She was beautiful. As wrong as his feelings were, something to him just felt right. The thoughts running through his head were so corny so he dared not say them out loud,”Wh--what did you want to.. uh talk about?” He asked

Mason had been thinking more and more about doing things with his sister ever since the kiss. He couldn’t help but think about what was running through her mind. Her comment had cleared that up for him. He walked down to the basement and laid down on the couch with a smirk. Truth was, he had been avoiding her due to the awkwardness that his minor slip up but all that was running through his mind was his sister. It didn’t matter what she was to him. The image of her with him in so many ways didn’t stop or leave his brain.
