I'm 32 years old and an American. Having said that, please don't bring political stuff into my DMs or Inbox. Do not harass me on politics, I do know what is going on in the outside world. I'm not ignorant, and I do sympathize with the struggles of those who are oppressed in the goings-on in Ukraine and in Gaza.
I am WHITE, CIS-FEMALE, and I go by she/her pronouns. So I will NOT SPEAK on matters that concern solely POC/WOC as I am not a part of those communities. I will defend them as an ally, but I will NOT speak for them.
I have other blogs and a job outside of tumblr, so this blog will probably be medium or low activity. I am also not one for drama. I dislike it. And I'm anti-callout UNLESS it's for someone's who a real danger to the RPC. I have been slandered and lied about in the past YEAR by someone and that someone's girlfriend in the Genshin Impact RPC. The callout against this person is here. And I do not condone what they've done to myself or my friends or any of their past victims. I also know this person and their girlfriend's rp blogs as well as the girlfriend's "new" gfx blog I have those blocked for my safety and peace of mind.

Unlike her son at the end of his life in Beach City before moving on to explore the world, Pink/Rose never confronted her feelings of inadequacy, her inferiority complex, her abuse and PTSD from the other Diamonds, her sorrow at harming Pink Pearl aka Volleyball and then losing her to White as punishment for "breaking" her. She never confronted her feelings of distrust and awkwardness and resentment of Spinel who replaced Pink Pearl as her "best friend". Or her apparent abandonment of her.
She never confronted her feelings about Bismuth, instead choosing to bubble them away just as she did her. She never asked any of the Crystal Gems how they felt about the War, their place in it, or the manipulations she pulled to cover her tracks as both the Rebel Rose Quartz and her Diamond self. She never thought about what Yellow and Blue would do in their grief. She never asked how Pearl was feeling after "shattering" her and how it hurt her to do even though Pink was fine. She never asked how any of them felt about the Gems being turned into monsters after the Corruption Blast. She never acknowledged how SHE FELT about it all. Hell, she never once thought about what the Crystal Gems would do or how they would feel after she gave birth to Steven and ceased to exist.
Pink/Rose was a mess of a Diamond. The abuse she was constantly under via the other Diamonds warped her sense of self. She didn't know who she was in comparison to the other Diamonds. White, Blue and Yellow never let her be who she wanted to be. She was the Diamond that was meant to uplift her people and propel them to be their best selves, who they truly were on the inside.
Pink/Rose was a tragic being. She never got the closure she needed, she never healed in the ways she needed to, she never felt like she was loved by her family: both Diamond and her Crystal Gems (because she was living a lie, pretending to be a Quartz soldier). Pearl loved Rose Quartz, not Pink Diamond. While both sides of her loved Pearl. That was heartbreaking for her. She was abused and mistreated and she perpetuated that cycle of abuse though in much more subtler ways.
TLDR; Pink/Rose needed major therapy and would never get it. Steven stopped the cycle of abuse that Pink was constantly trapped in whether or not she believed that she was free.

Pink Diamond emerged from what would be Homeworld 20,000+ years before the main events of what would constitute her breaking free from the toxicity of her Diamond family, The Gem War, creating a new family in the forms of Pearl, Garnet, and Amethyst as well as eventually Greg as Rose Quartz and passing her Gem onto her son Steven.
However, despite emerging at the same time as the other three Diamonds, she was either undercooked or overcooked because Blue, Yellow and especially White Diamond took most of the nutrients from where they were inserted deep into the Homeworld's core and mantle, thus them splitting the world into unequal halves and fragments.
Pink knew that she was a Diamond immediately after emerging. Her role was to create and help guide what would be Gem Society. However, because of her very small stature in contrast to the other three Diamonds (in White's case: she was nothing more than an ant looking up at something that 20 times larger than she was) she was forced into the role as an event coordinator praising the other Diamonds accomplishments. Though this was later on.
Pink and the other Diamonds created batches of gems via Homeworld's split. Though in Pink's case her Diamond essence was used and she was never allowed to actually help in the process. She was forced to be in her Palace, once it was built, at all times to keep her away from the other Diamonds as they worked on creating Gem Society via White's direction. The toxicity and abuse that would become a normal every day thing for Pink started pretty much from day one.
