An original character that I though up to go with all the other comic books characters I've been making recently. I don't have his super hero name down yet, but the character's name is Daniel Scott. His powers are bug based, I haven't decided wether I want to make him Spider-based, or Insect based.

The scope of powers is basically the same; super balance, agility, enhanced strength (how much is dependent on which animal his powers come from), the ability to cling to surfaces. If I go spider-based then he can have webs and dart derived from venom, if insect then he could have incredibly high jumping powers (don't want him to fly via insect wings) and far greater strength.

I know that his super hero costume is going to be kinda Rocketeer inspired (Leather jacket, form fitting, minimal, etc.) but I'm still working on it.

So what does everyone think? Should he be insect or Spider based?

I've been working on some orignal characters in the vein of American comics. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them, (I really struggle with actual comic design, my backgrounds drawing skills being pretty much non existant). But I am working on backgrounds, origins, and story structure, eventually I'll figure out how to write it either as episodic short stories, an actual comic or something else. For Steve I wanted an all-american design, someone whose a bit jock-like but also through story is shown to have a keen mind for science. Solar Man was designed kind of by mixing elements of Captain Marvel, Nova, and Northstar from Alpha Flight, at least the concept behind those characters.

I Started working on this shortly before the Blu-ray release of Force Awakens. It has (Obviously) taken me a long time. A large part of it is as I began drawing it I got more and more intimidated by making it turn out good. I'm quite happy with the line art but now the (near) monumental task of color and shading comes in. However I want everyone to see the line work that I've done and maybe have some fun.

The Scene is Darth Vader, Kylo Res and Luke. Vader's side is the cold, dark void of space and represents the Dark Side, on the Light Side with Luke we not only have an X-Wing but also one of Ahch-To's (the Planet at the end of VII) mountains to symbolize life and the Life Side of the Force.

While I'm coloring my version (When I'm finally getting around to it) I would love for anyone who wants to try to color this piece as they see fit, whether a print out and crayon, or full on digital coloring (My Patreon has it a a .png). Have fun and let me see what you come up with!
