Atem shook his head. “No, I’m fine. I’m not exactly planning on having sex any time soon. And if I do find who I’m meant to be with like the spell was supposed to do … ? Well, then I’m fine with a pregnancy.”
“You will make a wonderful parent either way Atem, you know that right?” he curled his hand around Atem’s, trying to give comfort to the other man. It was hard to know what to say in this situation.
Atem squeezed Sar’s hand back. “Well, thank you. I’ll be fine. I’ve … had some time to deal with it and I think I’ll end up being okay. I mean, it’s weird to think that I can carry a child to term but … eh.”
Sartorius laughed suddenly, “At least you won’t have to lay an egg correct?” after all they were both reptiles and that’s what they did, lay eggs.
“I carry the egg inside me, and then when it’s ready to hatch I lay it,” Atem replied. “It seems odd but that’s the way it is. Dragon eggs are rare so it’s to keep them safer.”
"Clearly your species cares more about it's young then mine", he smiled, it was good to know that it wasn't just his species that went around leaving eggs wherever.

He grinned back at Atem, “Kaiba killed himself because he thinks it’s funny. A Halloween prank, Kisara was never displeased…and I almost died, but that’s about it”
“Oh … dear. Well I hope you’re all alright now at least?” he frowned. “What am I saying? This is Kaiba and the lady is a Djinn. Of course you’re all fine.” He looked up at the ceiling “Nothing has happened to me besides for some discoveries about my own species that are a bit … eh … disturbing.”
Sartorius leaned against the counter, his head on his hands, “Now what can you mean about that? You already knew that dragons were will…not the most hospital race, not many of us supernaturals are”
“I’m mostly talking about our … erm … unusual reproductive habits,” Atem said with a pause. “Did you know my race is, in fact, hermaphroditic?” He sighed. “I … I could get pregnant.”
