New decision: I'll stop feeling pity for people who complain about x bad thing happening in their childhood if they continue on doing/supporting the same thing in adulthood.

It's very tragic if you grew up with an abusive dad, but if you go on and date abusive men as an adult, I'm not going to pity you, especially if you have children of your own who are now going to suffer from him. Like, what the actual duck.

Obviously these people still deserve professional help to adress their issues but I, as a regular non-professional, am not going to validate their insanity, thank you.

The good thing about having a Really Weird Neighbor is that no matter what you do, you'll never feel weird again because he is doing even more weird stuff. Prime example: You take out the trash at 1am, wondering if that was an issue for the neighbors? Don't worry, Really Weird Neighbor is already on the way somewhere ten minutes later and doesn't care about being quiet at all!

Okay, full transparency, it might take a while to raise him correctly so he's not vacuuming the hallway at absurd times anymore... But since Lawyer Neighbor lost his marbles one time, Really Weird Neighbor has been a great source of comedic entertainment around here! 😊

#another fun fact about Really Weird Neighbor: he's from southern Italy and speaks really loud Italian most of the times #his wife is from Eastern Europe and I'm quite sure she doesn't understand Italian #who is he talking to????#we'll never know:)))
