1)Took the earliest possible train to Chiasso this AM as the highly unproductive, inefficient n irresponsible lady at #Foxtown #Lugano said her "computer is temporaily out of order" and cldnt issue the tax refunds. (#liar) 2) Argued w the Chiasso (Italiano side!) Officer who insisted I pay taxes on the goods I brought in my trolley luggage when I insisted I'm going to the Swiss side for my customs duty stamp. He just refused to listen and I just told him, "I AM NOT PAYING ANY TAXES!!!!" Showed him my e-ticket amd passport entry stamp from Paris and said, "Excuse me, I am going to the Boys in blue." (The swiss boys wore blue uniforms. So dashing unlike the Italiano customs uncle in his scruffy Corrective work order-ish luminous yellow vest) 3) The Swiss customs officer was superbly efficient, tall and handsome. (German speaking). Best part, he didnt ask to see ALL of the goods. Can't imagine bringing everything down. I so need to do Europe all over again on business class with the additional luggage allowance!
