Boyfriend! Johnny never tells you this; he purposely leaves you whenever you start grocery shopping. You’ll be running through your grocery list, talking out loud so that he’ll know what to get but the moment you whip your head beside you to ask if he got it, he’ll be gone. A soft chuckle leaves your lips as you stroll away. Knowing Johnny, he’s probably distracted with a ‘buy one take one offer’. You’re always used to this that you finish grocery shopping without him.

Your boyfriend chuckles at himself as he sees you frantically looking for him, obviously finished with your shopping. He can’t help but to feel giddy because his favorite time has come. Finally, you see him at the end of the aisle.

The moment your eyes lit up when you start running towards him, leaving the cart behind with the brightest smile he’s ever seen never fails to make his heart flutter. This moment is what he’s always been waiting for as he waits for you with his arms wide open. The scent of your sweet perfume wafts through his nose when your bodies clash together into a hug. Johnny can’t help but smile to himself as you bury your face on his chest, wrapping your arms a little too tight on his waist. Your loud giggles fill the aisle the moment Johnny effortlessly spins the both of you around. It was also that moment where everything’s a blur and it was just you and him. Nothing else and nothing more.

“I found you.” You grin up at him after he gives your nose a quick peck. His huge arms caged you near his chest. Johnny heaves out a contented sigh as he stares at your face, memorizing each line and curve as if it’s the last time he’ll see you. His fingers tuck a stray hair behind your ear before planting a sweet long peck on your lips.

“Of course you did baby.” He leans again for a kiss, his smile still evident as his lips touches yours again. He was indeed a lucky one after all.

“You always do.”
