After School Matters Showcase

I want to let you guys know that on December 14th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM There is a showcase at the After School Matters Lutz Center. The address is 3435 N. Cicero, Chicago, IL, and they have 18 diffrent programs here. They have dance shows fro m the Latin Dance program, food from the Sweet & Savory Cuilnary program, Skateboards to see from the Skateboarding for Success program, interactive keyboards from the UpBeat Music program, podcasts you can listen to from the Audio Journalism program (which is the program im in) and many more. It is an amazing showcase, so please please come if you are in Chicago.

Hello! I haven’t spoken on here in a very long time. I just wanted to come on here and say I hope you all are doing well, I have been doing very well latley. If you are not feeling well, some suggestions of thing that may help you feel better are watching the show Bob’s Burgers, or listen to the album MAGDALENE by FKA twigs. Hello. My name is Mateo Cordova. I am 14 years old, and I’m a Freshman in High School. My pronouns are He/Him. I am apart of the Audio Journalism program at After School Matters. ASM is a teen based program in Chicago, where teens get paid to do many programs from baking, drawing, skateboarding, etc. My biggest interests are in Fair Trade, 1960s African-American history, Immigrant rights, Sexism towards women, LGBT rights, etc. I am a mixed child, with my mom being white, and my dad is Mexican, and me and my sister are considered the first on my dads side to be born in America. I also enjoy Performance Arts, and am very interested in Global history.
