Eleanor watched him get off the ground as she was walking out into the courtyard and she giggles softly. He’d obviously been working out, so she quickly says, “I hope I wasn’t interrupting anything! If I am I’m sure we can just meet up another time.” It’s not like this place was that huge, after all. They were bound to run into each other more than once.
As Matt extends his hand, Eleanor quickly grasps his hand and shakes his firmly. “Yeah, I’m new. I’m Eleanor, it’s nice to meet you.” Once she’s done shaking his hand she quickly places her hand back on her waist, and nods as she looks around. “It’s so nice here! And I’ve met a few people and everyone seems very friendly.”
“Not at all” he reassured her “I was all done for the day.” He’d been finding that his workout routine had been suffering lately, between his work schedule and the Thanksgiving turkey, but he was hoping to get it back on track now that he was here, but he probably would have just laid on the ground for a while longer if she hadn’t appeared, so it was probably for the best that she had.
“Great to meet you too Eleanor” he nodded with a friendly smile as he gave her hand a firm but gentle shake. “They’re all pretty cool,” he agreed “so far anyway.” he added with a playful smirk “I expect that as things get tighter around here and maybe some booze get thrown in the mix, some true colors will come out.” he explained, only half joking. “What made you sign up for something like this?” he asked, subtly gesturing toward the cameras that were focused in on them.
