hot take george karim is more book accurate than any of the other main three actually. he gets the split bc of the changed last name, but logically if he deserves the different character treatment then lw and lucy DEFINITELY should. and honestly im for that.

this being said i vote if show george is addressed as specifically Karim to differentiate, then show lockwood should be called Just Anthony and show lucy can be Nifty Thrifty Emo Bisexual Coded One

Honestly, I have mostly dipped out of the fandom because all anyone ever talks about anymore is the show.

I predicted that the show fans who then went on to read the books would call Lucy a pick-me because they wouldn't take a second to actually understand her character and I was right.

I just . . . don't enjoy beinga fan of it on the internet now. They're still my favourite books. I just can't really engage with the fandom anymore.

I got my friend hooked on the books and told him not to watch the show, though, so that's a win for me.

I don’t go out of my way to interact with anyone because of that reason. I post whatever and then let it rock. The fandom before the show was just so wholesome and I miss it a lot 😭
