Transformation of the Workplace through Harmony with Nature
Proud to have finished my Undergraduate Architectural Dissertation!
45 pages studying the use of living walls to improve your work-space through Biophilic design.
The study delved into the physics of air quality, the mechanics of living walls, the architecture of the office, and the psychology of human-nature collaboration.

Sheerness Centre for Historical Exploration
...With a firm grasp on the events and artefacts that have led to this time, an immersive experience is created where the engagement of the visitor is maximised and their interest peaked. The softened boundary between interior and exterior space allows for a green approach with Biophilic (Human – Nature relationship) aspects...

ADAPT + EXTEND
A rejuvenating development for the town of Sheerness on the Isle of Sheppey, my centre of Historical Exploration aims not only to educate its visitors on the events of history but provide the inspiration and facilities to fufil the potential of the future. The visitor is led on an immersive trail through concreted pavilions of the past nestled within the church’s decaying superstructure and through into suspended glass pavilions of the future. The embodied energy of the venture is lowered through use of reclaimed materials and minimal heating area. The Human - Nature collaboration (BIOPHILIA) is enhanced as a result of the lessened boundary between interior and exterior space, the inclusion of planted surfaces and the provision of areas for chance encounters, with both humans and history.
