Smíchov is a multi-layered district that reflects its rich history. Preserving the historic Radlická Dairy maintains the community’s connection to its shared past and identity.

Mamut | Ski Jumping Area | Harrachov 

Area Revitalization

The complex of large ski jumping jumps is located in the Krkonoše National Park in Harrachov, which is worldwide known for one of the six largest ski jumps in the world. Thanks to its size and visibility, it now creates a silent landscape dominant that is visible from most of the surrounding area. 

The aim of the project is to adapt the existing unused structures of the ski jumping area and to add new functions so that  the complex can be used by the public all year round for purposes other than just ski jumping competitions.

Adaptive Reuse of Radlice Diary Plant - 3D renders

In the coming years, Smíchov will face significant development changes that will change the character of the district. The aim of the project is to revitalise the area, with an emphasis on preserving its characteristic features while adding a modern layer of architecture. The project represents an innovative approach to the urban and architectural design of what was originally an industrial part of Prague, where the proposed development is designed according to the block layout and integrates the historic Radlice Dairy building into its structure.
