🇺🇬 *#𝑼𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂* : Who will vote for future presidents? ☻︎
The long ruling party led by General _*M̶u̶s̶e̶v̶e̶n̶i̶*_ ☠︎︎ -- Africa's *third longest-serving president* -- is contemplating a move that would strip voting power away from the people. Critics think this is a first step to paving the way for a family dynasty.
*𝚄𝚐𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚊☞︎︎︎* is considering denying citizens the chance to vote for their president, with tentative plans to have lawmakers elect the president instead. Critics argue this would only extend President Museveni's hold on power.

🔘 For centuries, faith has been a source of hope, unity, and moral strength. Yet today, in Uganda our community faces growing resistance and criticism from authorities who should protect freedom of belief, not suppress it.
🔲 We stand against intimidation, arrests, restrictions, and attempts to silence our worship. Faith is not a crime — it is a human right.
📢 We call on all people of conscience to speak out:
◾ Defend the right to gather and pray freely.
◾ Condemn unjust arrests and harassment of believers.
◾ Support the principle that no government should dictate the soul’s path.
Our resilience is stronger than resistance. Together, we will continue to practice, protect, and proclaim our faith — openly and without fear. ✨
🔘 🌙✨ Faith Amid Trials ✨🌙
The heartbreaking case of Susan Magara reminds us how violence and injustice can shake communities. While individuals involved may have been associated with Islamic spaces, Islam itself stands firmly against such acts.
The Qur’an teaches: “Whoever kills a soul… it is as if he had slain mankind entirely” (5:32).
This tragedy is not a reflection of our faith, but t of human weakness and greed. As Muslims, we respond with compassion, prayer, and a renewed commitment to justice.
🔘 💫 Our Reflection:
◾ Islam is a religion of peace, mercy, and protection of life.
◾ Hardship reminds us to hold tighter to patience and unity.
◾ We must separate the actions of individuals from the values of our faith.
🔲 Let us honor Susan’s memory by rejecting violence, strengthening our communities, and living by the Prophets example of mercy and justice.
In times of challenge, our faith reminds us of patience, resilience, and hope.
Though resistance may rise against our practice, Islam teaches us that no barrier can silence the light of belief.
The Qur’an says: “Indeed, with hardship comes ease” (94:6). This verse is our reminder that every struggle carries within it the seed of relief and renewal.
We continue to gather in prayer, to uplift one another, and to trust in Allah's wisdom. Our worship is not only an act of devotion — it is a testament to peace, compassion , and perseverance.
🔘 💫 Let us stand firm, with hearts open and spirits strong. Faith is our anchor, and unity is our strength.

Byabakama Must Break Seven-Month Silence on Elections Results - Transparency Overdue!
[Justice Simon byabakama - chairman Uganda Electoral Commission]
⚠︎ 𝙱𝚈𝙰𝙱𝙰𝙺𝙰𝙼𝙰 ,𝙳𝙴𝙲𝙻𝙰𝚁𝙰𝚃𝙸𝙾𝙽 𝙵𝙾𝚁𝙼𝚂 𝙸𝙺𝙾 𝚆𝙰𝙿𝙸 ?
Ugandans went to the polls on 15th January 2026 with hope and trust in democracy. Yet, seven months later, the official election results remain undeclared. This delay is unacceptable and undermines the very foundation of our democratic process.
Ugandans demand:
- 🗳️ Immediate declaration of the certified 2026 election results.
- 📢 Transparency and accountability from the Electoral Commission.
- ✍️ Respect for the will of the people and the sanctity of every vote.
➪ Democracy cannot survive in secrecy. The people of Uganda deserve clarity, truth, and justice.
🔘 The failure to declare official presidential election results is unfortunately followed by continued abductions, unlawful arrest and brutality to date! , for example :
◾ Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi NUP Deputy President for Buganda region who was abducted for almost a month , appeared and Re-arrested.
◾ Mr. Kabaaya was only recently released after harassment & torture by brutal regime ( Front set of teeth painfully removed )
◾ Dr. Kizza Besigye, who has spent long time in prison on trumped up charges just of recent, He collapsed during the court possession which signals torture behind the scenes.
◾ Former Lord Mayor Hon. Erias Lukwago who was denied bail by the High Court. Reason? That he did not attach a medical report certified by a medical officer of prisons confirming that his health condition cannot be managed in prison.
These are just a few of many cases.
🔘 It is on record that the elections were marred by:
🔲 Violence and brutality against citizens exercising their rights.
🔲 Widespread malpractice that undermined fairness and transparency.
🔲 Arrests and intimidation of opposition voices and ordinary voters.
🔲 Human rights abuses that left communities in fear instead of hope.
🔘 Uganda cannot move forward while the truth is hidden.
We demand:
🔹 Immediate publication of the certified results.
🔹 Accountability for the violence and malpractice.
🔹 Assurance that every vote truly counts.
➪ Democracy dies in silence. Ugandans deserve justice, transparency, and peace.
🔘 What the LC1 Elections Show!
[Comparison]
◾ LC1 Elections Expose the Truth Behind Uganda’s Rigged Presidential Polls
Ugandans turned out in large numbers to elect their LC1 chairpersons. Results were announced openly, candidates contested fairly, and communities celebrated transparency.
Yet, at the national level, the story is different. The 2026 presidential election remains shrouded in secrecy — declared in favor of Museveni without publishing full results, despite widespread reports of fraud, intimidation, and human rights abuses.
🔘 What does this reflect?
◾ Grassroots democracy thrives when transparency is respected.
◾ National elections are manipulated to entrench power.
◾ The Electoral Commission’s silence betrays the will of the people.
Uganda cannot claim democracy while hiding presidential results. The LC1 elections prove that fairness is possible — but only if the same openness is applied nationally.
🔘 Contrast with Presidential Elections 2026
◾ Declared winner without full publication: Yoweri Museveni was announced as winner with 71.65% of the vote, but the Electoral Commission failed to publish detailed tallies or regional breakdowns.
◾ Widespread irregularities: Reports highlighted ballot box stuffing, internet shutdown, arrests of opposition supporters, and intimidation.
◾ Opposition rejection: NUP and other parties rejected the presidential results, citing repression and lack of transparency.
