“Why did it breathe”
I’ve been playing a rom of tomodachi life 2 for a while now and I’ve been posting about it here for a while and I will say I’ve been enjoying it! or well was, I’ll get into that but I wanna give some context to this story
I enjoy this game a lot and my favorite thing to do in this game is to make the Miis which is probably a “no duh” type deal but I really like more so experimenting with the mii creator in unique ways, examples bellow:

Experimental.
I’ve always had an interest in horror media of all types but mostly creepy pastas, digital horror, and old slashers, But one form of horror I love that I think people don’t talk about enough is horror in non horror media
I’ve always had a feeling that horror (intentional or not) in games not meant to be seen as scary for most of the game hits harder than horror games at times cause well you don’t expect it, so I had the idea that like any good little part of the world my island needed a sort of “cryptid” I guess you could say.
I was unsure what would be a good design for a cryptid since I already had characters like eyeless Jack and Jeff the killer on the island (not pictured earlier but they are there) but i decided to do one of my favorite types of monsters.
I’ve always loved Amalgamations, horrid beings made out of parts that never should’ve been put together, so i decided to take inspiration from the old epic Mickey concept art and decided to make this… thing a reality…
That was my first mistake…
This is what i decided to make, I called it…
“Amalgamii”
I used a lot of the face stamps to make this thing and at the time I was honestly really proud with how it turned out but I felt like the other islanders wouldn’t want to see it so I decided to…
Contain it…
(Course I wasn’t doing this out of fear or anything it was mostly cause I liked the aesthetic of an experiment gone wrong) ironic…
So I let it live on its own peacefully giving it a couple of random gifts to see how this creature would interact, enjoying feeling like a scientist testing out my weird Frankenstein. It notably enjoyed a lot of creepy stuff which I found funny cause most of the time monsters like this see themselves as hideous and wanting to be beautiful, maybe in a way it felt the world was ugly and stuff like it was the true beauty…
Everything changed though when I let it do something now I regret
I let it socialize with an islander…
But obviously not one of the 14 Miis it was related too via DNA I decided if anyone was to talk to it it would be the child of two of the Miis, Teku! (Miku and Teto had a kid and I thought that was a cute name) she wouldn’t be staring at her own face and also kids are usually the ones who have to fight the monsters as no one believes them…

They got along swell actually but something changed with the amalgamii…
It spent more time than usual staring at the walls of the enclosure, even doing that admiring thing at one point but I wondered as silly as I admit this thought is… was it trying to find a way out? Like, did Teku tell it about the outside world
I mean obviously it would be insane to think that cause it’s a goddamn mii but it did this for the next 4 days… and I noticed the animations started to get strange nothing like it was twitching violently or Turing its head to the camera and going “IM GOING TO EAT YOUR SOUL” but honestly what ti did was creepier
It looked like it was usual lean forward animation but noticeable less cartoony and the part that freaked me out the most is that it seemed to be… breathing
Given how weird this game is I thought it might’ve just been an Easter egg no one discovered yet, the games been out for only so long and they did unfiltered the game already so who’s to say they added a sort of semi dark Easter egg like that for isolating a mii?
But then something even weirder happened, the game randomly just stopped working, for an entire week.
Crashing wasn’t new I was using the canary branch of ryujinx (though after this I switched) so when it started I just did the regular stuff like messing with graphics modes and such, I was playing on my steamdeck this whole time so obviously it’s gonna be a lil wonky but… this time nothing worked
Until it suddenly started working again but
Everything was gone…
The islanders, the island, all of it gone randomly like I just started a new game, like something just seemed to eat it up in those couple of days
Obviously again I was a realist and just said “OKAY MAYBE I JUST ACCIDENTALLY DELETED THE SAVE DATA CLEARING STORAGE” cause I AM NOT DEALING WITH SOME CREEPYPASTA TODAY BUT…
There was one more thing I want you all to see…
This was left in my screenshots folder on ryujinx.
I don’t know what it is.
I don’t know how it showed up.
All I know is that i obviously needed to and did downloaded a new rom.
And that something on the island really was breathing…
Why did it breathe…
If there any people good with deciphering weird computer generated images like this reblog with the image and If you really want to (although I highly suggest against it) you could test this out yourself making an amalgamii, to see if I really am just going crazy or if this is a real phenomenon, thank you and goodbye.
