a friend made me realize that i may be doing all this to myself. i might be making myself stressed out, i may be making myself feel this way. and he didn’t mean it in a mean way, so im not mad at him. but i think it made me realize that i don’t have to spend 100% of my off time towards homework or studying. i can’t stress over unfinished projects. i need to do what i can when i can when it comes to school/homework, but i need to start to enjoy life again. i need to hang out with friends when im able to. i need to start playing league more. i need to start climbing again whether it’s indoors or outdoors. i just need to stop stressing out. i don’t know man, but i hope i can stop stressing and worrying.

so i spoke with a counselor at school today and he said that i can be at a cal state by fall 2016. very excited and very scared.

i haven’t been feeling like myself these past couple of days. it actually seems like it happens every week. i keep encountering waves of depression and i feel like i know what’s causing it but i’m not sure. some of it is because im afraid to fail in school because i dropped out a little over two years ago because i just couldn’t do it anymore. i don’t want that to happen again. i feel like i don’t devote my time enough into certain classes, but i honestly just can’t. im so afraid to fail that i can’t even start focusing. idk it sounds dumb, but i tend to get on league of legends with my friends to avoid it. it’s a really good distraction and i just laugh and have fun with them. i know it’s bad to do that and i realize it when im playing but it feels so much better to be distracted so i continue to do it even though i know i shouldn’t. i spoke with my doctor about my mental illness and he gave me a number to call that can point me in the right direction to get everything checked out. it just sucked because it took a lot out of me to bring it up to him and now i have to call and it’s hard for me to call. i have to try and call soon because i can’t keep feeling like this. the thing is, it doesn’t feel like everything around me is falling apart, it just feels like everything is within arms reach, but i just can’t grasp or hold onto anything.
