Halsey followed him to the couch, sitting down on the other side of him, leaning back against the couch cushions. She laughed softly and shrugged. “I was just using the most mainstream from of alcohol to express the fact that I thought you’d provide it,” she smiled. “I guess I should’ve assumed you were classier,” she teased, twisting a strand of hair between her fingers. She leaned forward to retrieve a carton, peeling it open to discover that it’s contents were orange chicken. She nodded casually at his comment and smiled. “I think I could hang with a glass of wine,” she stated simply, picking up a plastic fork and spearing into a piece of chicken before popping it into her mouth. “So, clue me in.
