MELBIKE Concept - The next Generation of share bikes for Melbourne. Utilizing electric pedal assistance, Melbike offers people of all cycling abilities the option of commuting/traveling longer distances around Melbourne by bicycle, reducing the number of cars on the road and easing pressure on Melbourne's Public Transport network. June presentation renderings for my fourth year Industrial Design studio. I have decided since then that I want to make some changes before the project's conclusion in November.

This week I was fortunate enough to become a finalist in the adIdeas NewStar awards! It was all pretty exciting as I got to stand on stage with the other finalists during the second day of the three day conference. It was great to get along and listen to some inspiring designers and artists. I even got one of my designs published in the big adIdeas book. My speaker design is from late 2012, based on muscle structure to inspire the user while they are exercising.

Lumen II Prototype on display the Design Decoration Sydney as part of The Edge. We where lucky to get our prototype ready in time for the show. Pretty happy with it over all, but there are some things that we want to change. Laser cut Aluminium, 3D Printed Joints, Tridonic LED and acrylic diffuser. Lumen Pendant Light re-design. After completing the first pendant we decided we wanted to make the light easier to assemble, larger and change the light source. We used a Tridonic LED as our light source and a frosted acrylic diffuser to make the light less harsh. We decided we would 3D print small joints to hold the Plywood and Aluminium fins together. I cycled out to Point Nepean a few weeks ago. I really like the architecture of these retired gun emplacements that are dotted along Point Nepean. Similar to Le Corbusier's designs.

1980's themed "Giant Evil Gods" Logo. I'm obsessed with facets at the moment, and a lot of 80's design is sharp and angular. When my friend talked to me about a film idea he had that would be set in a 1980's perspective of the future, I couldn't resist having a play. Pretty happy how it came out.
