hi I love your writing! Can you do a William Nylander as a dad and he takes his family to the beach. Maybe the kids can be like 7, 5, and 3. 2 boys and girl. Willy’s wife can make sandwiches and they have a beach day and end the day on the boardwalk and playing games and riding rides.
Beach Day
a/n: i am sorry if this is not exactly what you wanted i tried my best and i hope you like it
You and your husband William Nylander got married 10 years ago, You had a son named Alex Nylander and who was 7, you had another son named James Nylander who was 5 and a little girl named Ava Nylander who was 3.
You and your family took a trip to New Jersey and you rented an air b and b to stay in while you stayed in New Jersey.
You were sitting on the patio outside with your kids while they were playing around with their toys. Your husband William was inside getting ready for the day when your daughter came up to you and said “Mommy where's daddy?”
“I think he's inside. Why do you need something?” You stare at her with wonder
“I need him!!” She walked towards the back door and opened it before screaming “DADDYY!!!” inside the house
She turned around and walked towards a chair next to you and waited for her dad to come downstairs
Will opens the door and rushes outside looking around for his daughter “Ava are you okay?”
She nods, getting up to walk towards her dad. He reaches down to pick her up
“She needed you,” you tell him
“Ava you scared me. I thought you were in trouble. What did you need, sweetheart?” He's still holding Ava in his arms
“BEACH DAY??” she looked at her dad while asking
Will looks at you “What do you think Mom Should we take the kids to the beach for the day?”
“I think we could make that work, I will go make sandwiches to bring with us if you can go and get the kids ready for the beach” You get up to go inside to pack everything for lunch
Once you finish making lunch you head upstairs to change into an outfit to wear to the beach. When you finish getting ready you walk downstairs and you see your husband and children all ready to go with their shoes on.
“Are you ready to go?” Willy asks you
“Yeah, I just have to get my shoes on. Alex, do you mind going and getting the bag of food that's on the counter and bringing it to the car for me?” You walk toward where your family is standing
“Yeah sure Mom” he walks off in the direction of the kitchen
You grab your shoes and put them on while Will takes the kids out to the car and gets them all ready. You and Alex join them a couple of minutes later.
When you get to Point Pleasant Beach you all get out of the car and your kids run toward the beach leaving you and your husband behind. When you and Will make your way to a spot on the beach you put all your stuff down and set up your stuff around you. After you set up you call your kids to come and put some sunscreen on.
They come running up to where you are sitting on the ground
“Can you make sure you put some sunscreen on before you go into the water please” You hand them the sunscreen bottle
After everyone had applied some sunscreen the boys ran to the water and Ava walked over to her dad before grabbing his hand and pulling him towards the water.
You're sitting on the beach when your son James comes up to you “Mom can you come in the water with me?” he asks
“Ofc Buddy” you get up and walk with him to the water
After about an hour of being in the water, James comes up to you and says “Mom I’m hungry”
“Okay we can go get some lunch”
All of you made your way out of the water and walked over to wear your stuff. You and your family sit down and start to eat lunch. You ate sandwiches and some fruit for your lunch laughing and having a good time with your family
Alex walks up to you and sits beside you and sits down “Mom can we go play some games and maybe go on some rides?”
You look at William to see if he had an opinion on what we did before Ava interrupted and said “I want to stay here”
Will turns toward Alex “How about we stay here for a little longer and then we can end the day at the boardwalk. Does that sound alright buddy?”
“Yeah that sounds fine with me Dad”
You look at James “Are you okay with that bud?”
“Yeah. I want to go on rides tho”
“Yeah, we will. Let's just have some fun at the beach for a little longer. If you guys want you can go into the water while Dad and I clean up. Just don’t leave each other and make sure you keep an eye on Ava” The kids run toward the water leaving you and Will by yourself
After you clean up you and Will head to the water with your children. After about another hour you decide that it's time to go to the boardwalk. Before you go there you go to the bathroom to change with Ava and Will takes the boys to change.
Once you change you meet up with the rest of your family and head towards Jenkinson’s boardwalk. The boys immediately spot an arcade and ask to go in there.
You spend some time in the arcade before you head back outside and Ava sees cotton candy and pulls on your hand
“Mom, can I get cotton candy?” pointing at the cotton candy machine
“Why not” you turn towards the boys “Do either of you want cotton candy?”
James and Alex both said yes. You walk over toward the cotton candy and order three pieces of cotton candy.
“Hey, Mom, can we go on that ride?” Alex points to a ride
“Yeah as long as you go on it with your dad” you turn towards Ava “Hunny do you want to go on that ride with your brothers and dad?” You point to the ride and she shakes her head
The three boys go on the ride while you and Ava play some games while you wait for the boys to finish their ride.
Once the boys finish their ride you guys continue to walk down the boardwalk and play a couple of games that the boys want to play and some things that Ava wants to play. There were a couple of rides that everyone went on
To end the day you guys took the kids to the merry-go-round. While you and Will are standing waiting for the kids to finish he puts his arm around your waist and kisses the top of your head.
“I love you, did you know that?” he told you
You laugh before saying “I love you”
“Thank you for giving me such amazing children” he leaned over and kissed you on the lips
The ride ended and your kids started to walk towards you “Are you ready to go home?”
They all nodded and you headed back to the car and made your way home. The kids fell asleep in the car and you carried them to their rooms before you and Will headed to bed. You had a really fun day and you are very grateful for the family that you have and you wouldn’t change them for the world

Summary: You grew up just around the corner from Macklin's house. You went to school with him and you hung out every day. Once the two of you got to high school you became high school sweethearts but in 10th grade, something happened that left you not talking for two years until one day you met again and were forced to be around each other every day
You and Mack had been dating for almost 2 years now and you were both super happy. It honestly doesn't feel any different than when you both were just friends. The only difference was that you guys would kiss, hold hands and sometimes go on dates. However, the two of you would still hang out every day and sometimes you would hang out multiple times a day.
You hadn’t talked to Emma for a year and a half ever since she distanced herself from you. She never tried to talk to you and she would give you dirty looks in the hallways. You weren’t sure what you did to her but that didn’t stop her from trying to talk to Macklin whenever she got the chance. Sometimes she would talk to him when you weren't there and sometimes when you were standing right in front of them. When she would talk to him it wasn’t in a way like they were friends but she would speak to him in a very flirty way.
Macklin would always ignore her or turn her down whenever she would try to talk to him and he would ALWAYS remind her that he had a girlfriend and he wasn’t interested in her but no matter how many times he would tell her she still wouldn’t give up.
You knew that she was trying to steal your boyfriend. You think that is why when you told her about how you felt about Macklin a while ago she acted the way she did because she was interested in him too.
One day after school you were over at Macklin’s house and you were watching TV in his room when you started to talk about what was happening at school with him and Emma
“I am sorry about Emma. It must be annoying for you” you told Macklin while you were cuddling on his bed
“Babe, it's fine. I have gotten used to it by now. You know nothing is going to happen between us so at this point it has just become something that everyone around can laugh at” he reassured you while wrapping his arms around you so you were resting on his chest
“I know but I still feel like it's my fault tho”
“How could any of this be your fault?”
“I don’t know I just feel like I am responsible for this somehow”
With a stern voice, Macklin told you “y/n this is not your fault. I wouldn't blame you for this. Let’s just let it go and not talk about it right now and enjoy the rest of our show”
“Okay I will drop it for now but we are going to continue this conversation later” You turned your attention back to the TV show and dropped the conversation.
As the days went on Emma would try harder to try to get Macklin's attention. He never seemed to be bothered by it when it happened. He would just laugh it off and continue with his conversations but you still feel bad for him.
You decided that it was probably a good idea to try and talk to Macklin about it. It was around lunchtime when you went to meet Macklin at your spot. You hadn’t seen him since the morning when you walked to school together. You normally would meet in the math hall because it was between your and Macklin's classes. You waited around 15 minutes but he never showed up, which wasn’t like him.
You tried to call him but your call went straight to voicemail. You felt off because Macklin always answered his phone. You decided to text him just in case he was somewhere where he couldn’t answer your phone call or he would respond to your message when he got the chance. When he didn’t answer you started to not feel very good about what was going on so you thought it was probably a good idea to go and find him.
You looked everywhere around the school for Macklin but you couldn’t find him. When you and Macklin started dating you decided to share your location in case either of you were ever in trouble. You never used it or had a reason to use it as you trusted Macklin but you had no idea where he was and it was starting to scare you so you thought it would be an appropriate time to use it.
His location was saying that he was still in the school which you already knew but it still made you feel better to know that he didn’t leave school. You followed his location to the best of your ability and it led you to a hallway full of classrooms.
You stayed quiet to see if you could hear any voice in hopes that it would make finding Macklin easier. Almost like he knew that you were thinking about him you heard his voice coming from one of the classrooms. You thought that he could be talking to a teacher but you were wrong.
You walked towards the sound of his voice. When you went to open the door you heard a very familiar voice say “ Don’t worry y/n doesn’t have to know”
You felt the blood in your body start to boil. You opened the door as quickly as possible to see the one thing that you were scared about happening.
You saw Emma with her face dangerously close to Macklin’s while Macklin had his back up against the wall. Her arms were wrapped around Macklin's neck. Macklin thankfully wasn’t touching her back and he had his hands by his side but it didn’t look like he was trying to pull away from her which made you upset.
You stood there for a couple of seconds before Macklin made eye contact with you. He tried to move away from Emma but as he tried to move away from her Emma grabbed his wrist to try and pull him back towards her. Macklin used his strength to try and get his hand free from her grip
You turned to leave but Macklin shouted at you to stop “y/n I swear it's not what it looks like”
Tears are streaming down your face. It feels like someone has ripped your heart out of your chest and left an empty hole where your heart used to be.
“Really because it looks to me like you were in a classroom alone with a girl who has been trying to throw herself at you for months, while your girlfriend was searching the whole school to find you! Thanks for letting me know that you weren’t going to meet me by the way” you angrily choked out through the tears streaming down your face
“Okay it is what it looks like but I swear we weren’t doing anything. We were just talking and then Emma threw herself at me! How did you find me anyway?” he moved closer to you while trying to explain what happened
You back away with every step closer “I don’t know if you remember this but you shared your location with me a while ago and believe it or not I got worried about your safety because you didn’t bother to let me know that you were going to be late. Also, you might not have been doing anything but you didn’t try to move out of her grasp. Macklin you play hockey, you have so much more muscle than she does. You could have quickly gotten out of that situation no problem but you didn’t. You let her have her hands around your neck and her face close to yours.” you screamed at him tears still streaming down your face
He didn’t speak. He just stood there not saying a word not that he could say anything and even if he wanted to you just continued to yell at him.
“You might not have kissed her or done anything like that behind my back Macklin but you still met up with her without my knowledge AND you didn’t try to move away from her and leave. Maybe that's not cheating in your mind but it sure as hell is cheating to me. If you wanted to talk to her I would have been fine with that because I trusted you but instead, you betrayed my trust and met up with her in private. I hope you know that I came here to talk about our relationship and how I didn’t know if it was worth the trouble for you to have to go through with that bitch always bugging you. I was hoping that we wouldn’t break up and we could work through it because I love you but here we are. You made my decision so easy Macklin”
You turned to walk away before yelling at the top of your lungs “WE ARE SO OVER MACKLIN! BOTH OF YOU CAN GO TO HELL FOR ALL I CARE!”
You had never felt this kind of heartbreak before. You would have never thought that Macklin the sweet and caring boy you have always known and grown up with would cheat on you with your ex-friend. You trusted him and he betrayed you. You didn’t ever want to see him again after what he did but you know you would.
A couple of years ago he talked about how he didn’t want to ruin our friendship by becoming a couple. However, he might not have known it then but he had definitely ruined your friendship and more importantly he ruined your relationship.
When you got home you stormed upstairs past your mother who was asking why you were home so early, towards your room. When you got into your room you curled up on your bed and started to cry.
You went through the rest of the school year with no friends and a broken heart. You avoided Macklin as much as you could because you didn’t want to see him again, until you ran into him literally
He steadied you so you didn’t fall and said “y/n can we talk. I need to talk to you about what happened. I want to tell you my side of the story”
“I can’t talk to you right now Macklin. I need more time” you got out of his grasp and quickly walked away from him down the hall
After getting away from Macklin you made your way to your next class. Once you finished your class you made your way towards the cafeteria for lunch. You tried to find a table where no one was sitting so you didn’t have to deal with all the whispers and questions from everyone at the table. To get to an empty table you had to walk past Emma and her group of friends.
There were already enough people whispering about you so you weren't bothered when Emma and her group of friends were whispering about you when you walked past. However, when you walked past them you heard Emma say “That's the girl whose boyfriend chose me instead of her” to her friends.
You had to take a deep breath to try and stop the rage that you felt boiling up inside you because you knew she was right. Macklin did choose her instead of you and you couldn’t hold back your anger anymore. You turned to face her and her friends and walked over towards their table.
“Hey Emma, why don’t you say that to my face you bitch” you yell at her with while your fists stay at your side just ready to go if she says anything to piss you off more than you already are
“Oh look who it is, the girl whose boyfriend chose me instead” she repeats to her friends while laughing
You stand right in front of her and move your fists from your side and punch Emma right in her face. And say “that's for being such an awful friend to me” you punch her in the face a second time and say “ And that's for everything that happened with Macklin”
You turn to leave feeling so much better after doing that. You had wanted to punch Emma in the face for years but you never had the courage to until now. Your eyes find Macklin’s but you ignore him and keep moving. Everyone was staring at you but you didn’t care. You didn’t care about anything but getting out of this school.
You went through the rest of high school with new friends that you had made through the years (Lizzie, Ava, and Mia) and you got a new boyfriend (James). You were living happily with your new life. You still didn’t fully trust everyone. How could you when you gave your heart to someone who took it for granted?
You were so happy that you were graduating in less than a couple of weeks and going to university. So you never had to see Macklin or Emma again. You thought that moving to San Jose would be your way away from the drama that was your years at high school. Little did you know that it was only the beginning
A couple of months later you and Lizzie would go and live in San Jose together. Lizzie thought it would be a great idea to go to a San Jose Sharks game to get the experience of what it’s like to live in San Jose. Everyone talks about the Sharks at school and you wanted to know what they are about. You were fine with it because you like hockey. You loved it, however hockey did remind you of Macklin in a way because you would always watch the Canucks with Macklin whenever they would play.
You told her you would go hoping that it wouldn’t remind you too much of your ex. You spent the whole day getting ready for it. When you got there you grabbed some popcorn and made your way to your seats. The game hadn’t started yet and some players were on the ice warming up.
Your friend was telling you how attractive one of the players with the name Smith on the back of his jersey was. You couldn’t spot him so she pointed to him. Standing next to him was a very familiar man whom you never thought you would see in San Jose.
You stare at him and don’t speak. You can hear Lizzie saying things to you but you just can’t seem to make out any of the words she is saying.
Lizzie notices that you aren’t listening to you when she says “y/n are you even listening to me?”
“Sorry what did you say” You haven’t broken your eye contact with the man skating on the ice
“Of course you aren't” She moves her head to look where you are staring “What are you looking at?”
“Is that who I think it is, is that..?” Lizzie’s jaw drops as she stares

You grew up in Vancouver all of your life with just your mom and older sister. Your dad died when you were only a year old so you don’t remember him all too well. You knew no different than living with your mom and sister but your sister and you didn’t get along.
You and your sister were never that close. She was never there for you and you both fought all the time. Your mom had to work a lot so it was usually just you and your sister at home. You and your mom were not close at all. She treated you differently from your sister and she compared you to her all the time.
You hated school for a while because you had no one to hang out with. You were never very good at making friends so you were pretty lonely. You didn’t know why but it was just really difficult for you. That was until you met Macklin. He was an amazing friend to you when you were growing up, the two of you were inseparable. You did everything together.
It was just the two of you until grade 8 when you met Emma. She was such an amazing friend but she didn’t really like Macklin too much, or so you thought. She would always act very weird around him and you didn’t know what she didn’t like.
In grade 8 you thought you would share your feelings for Macklin with Emma but you weren’t sure how she was going to feel about that and you didn’t want this to ruin your friendship.
You and Emma would hang out all the time without Macklin. Especially during the summer of grade 9.
Emma was over at your house for a sleepover in the summer. It was late at night, around midnight, and the two of you were lying in your beds staring at the ceiling just talking. There was an awkward silence before you decided that you were going to tell her about your feelings for Macklin cause you didn’t know how much longer you could hold this secret in any longer
“Hey Em?” you asked her not making eye contact
“Yeah, what's up?” She didn’t move to look at you and instead just continued to stare at the ceiling
“I need to tell you something” You were nervous to tell her that you liked Macklin and you weren’t sure why
“Y/n you're scaring me. What's wrong?” She turned to look at you but you continued to stare at the ceiling knowing that if you looked at her it would make things more awkward
“Oh no it's nothing to worry about.” you reassured her before continuing “So you know how Macklin and I have been friends since we were like little kids”
“Yes what about it” she sounded confused
“Well over the last couple of months I have noticed that I have feelings for Macklin,” you tell her
“What do you mean?” She fully turned her body so she was facing you
“I mean I like-like him,” you tell her still not facing him
Emma started to sit up before saying “What do you mean you like-like him? Like you love him?”
“Maybe. I don’t know. All I know is that I feel something more than friendship with him.” Emma seemed angry when you told her this and you think that it’s from her not liking him but there is something more behind her reaction
“Are you kidding me?” Emma almost sounded upset and a little disappointed
“No, I am not kidding. I don’t know if I should tell him how I feel or not” You turned to look at her but she lay back down and stared at the ceiling
“I don’t think you should. He seems to only like you as a friend” her tone was very stern almost like she was done having this conversation
After that, you didn’t answer her and went straight to bed. You weren’t sure why she told you that. You thought that she would be a very good friend and try to tell you to go tell him how you feel but she didn’t think that was a good idea and you weren’t sure why.
Emma and your relationship got weird after that night. You started to hang out less, she started to distance herself, and stopped talking to you almost entirely.
You started your first day of grade 9 yesterday and you hang out with Macklin whenever you get a chance. Ever since you and Emma started to drift apart you and Macklin grew closer than you have been since Emma has been in the picture.
You were hanging out at Macklin's house just the two of you. Which you would do during the summer and it wasn’t uncommon to be left alone at Macklin's house but this time it was different. There was a weird tension in the air and Macklin was acting a lot more flirty than he normally was.
You were sitting on his bed watching “Footloose” which you had forced him to watch. The two of you loved to sit and watch movies together. That's what you did most of the time. Macklin would usually let you pick which movie to watch without complaining however when he would pick it was usually movies that you didn’t want to watch.
You were staring at him while he was sitting there with his hair looking as good as it always does. He looked as attractive as he usually does. You wanted to kiss him badly while he was sitting there. He looked at you before moving his attention back to the TV.
While the two of you were sitting there you grabbed his chin with your finger and turned his face to look at you before you brought your lips down towards him and gently placed them on his. His lips were soft on yours before you pulled back.
You sat back wondering what you had just done before getting off the bed and running out of the room as quickly as possible trying to get away from Macklin because of how embarrassed you felt.
You were running down the street until you were out of breath and couldn’t breathe anymore. You sat on the edge of the sidewalk, tears streaming down your face. What had I just done you thought to yourself. You had just ruined your friendship with Macklin and it was the only good friendship you had ever had.
“Y/N” Macklin screamed from down the road
You turn to face him. You see him running down the road after screaming your name while running.
“Y/N” he screams again still running down the road
“Go away, Macklin. I messed up, I know. You don’t need to tell me about it” You went to get up but sat back down at the shadow of someone in front of you
You look up and see Macklin standing in front of you. You got up to talk to him face to face. When you were face to face with him you started to speak but no words came out. You just stood there looking him in the eyes. You turn to walk away when you feel a hand grab your wrist to stop you from leaving.
You turn your head to face him and you feel his hand pull you closer to his body before he lowers his head and presses his lips to yours This time you could feel the want on his lips as he kissed you.
You pull away before asking him “What are you doing?”
He moved to kiss you again but you moved your head out of the way before he could kiss you again.
“Macklin what are you doing?” you asked slightly out of breath
“Kissing you. What does it look like I am doing?” he says before trying to kiss you again
You pull your head back so you could ask him a very important question “Yeah I know that I am not stupid. The question is why are you kissing me?”
“Because I have wanted to do this ever since I met you but I was too much of a coward to do it first. I didn’t want to ruin one of the most amazing friendships I'd ever had. When you kissed me I was confused because I didn’t think you liked me. That's why I didn’t kiss you back. That's why when you ran out I knew I had to chase you down because I knew that I messed up by not kissing you back. I didn’t want you to think I didn’t like you or that you messed up because you didn’t. I am so sorry y/n. Please forgive me.” he admitted to you
You didn’t know what to say but before you could even think you felt your body move towards Macklin's face. You lowered your lips to his and kissed him. The kiss you both shared before was nothing compared to this one. This one was much rougher and possessive than before.
When your lips brush against his you knew that your friendship was done for. There was no way you two could go back to being friends after the way that Macklin was kissing you.
Macklin pulled back and said, “Can we go back inside? It's chilly starting to get cold out here?”
You laugh at his words “Yes Macklin we can go back inside”
Macklin grabs your hand and starts to walk back to the house. There was a smile on your face that went from ear to ear. You were so happy, now that you had the guy that you had a crush on for years you thought nothing would be able to get rid of that smile. But boy were you wrong.
Summary: It is Easter morning at the Nylander house and you have never found your husband more attractive then when you see him with your kids
You and William have been married for 3 years and holidays were never really that big of a deal. The two of you would do something small together and then you would either go to your in-laws or you would go to your family's house. That was until you had kids. Your nights become busier and your holidays become more of a big deal.
William was with your son Grayson while you were with your daughter Elizabeth (Ellie). You were making your way upstairs to Grayson's room. When you got there you saw William laying next to your son trying to get him to go to sleep.
“Daddy, how long until the Easter Bunny comes to our house” your one year old asks his father
“He will be here when you wake up buddy but in order for him to come to our house you are going to have to go to sleep.” William tried to explain to your son
“But I don’t want to go to sleep” he had the sass of a 2 year old that's for sure
“Then I guess the Easter bunny won't be coming tonight” you said to your son
Both william and graysons head whipped in your direction not knowing that you had been standing there for so long
“Fine” your son was not happy about what you had said but he knew that you were right
You walked over to where your son was laying in bed and gave him a kiss on the forehead
“Goodnight Grayson, I will see you in the morning. I love you” you say to your son crouching down beside the bed because you still had Ellie in your hands
“Goodnight mommy, I love you” he leans over towards his sister and kisses her on the forehead “Goodnight ellie, I love you”
Your heart felt so pure. Your son was such a sweetheart. He loved his little sister so much. You make your way outside of his bedroom hearing the sound of your husband's voice
“Goodnight buddy, see you in the morning” He said kissing Graysons forehead before he got out of his bed
“Goodnight dad, I love you” he said blowing his dad a kiss
“I love you too” blowing a kiss back to his son
He turned the light out in the room and then walked out to see his wife standing there with ellie in her arms
“Time to put you to bed” he tickled his daughter to make her laugh. He loved the sound of her laugh, it sounded like y/n’s
She reached out towards her dad making it known that she wanted her to hold her. you made sure that ellie was safely in his arms before you let go
You and William put Ellie down together and say goodnight. Once you leave the bedroom you make your way downstairs. Once you get to the livingroom your husband makes his way towards the couch and falls on his back in exhaustion.
“I am so ready for bed” he tells you letting out a sigh
“I am too but guess what?” you say while you make your way towards the space beside him on the couch and sit down
“What” he said looking at you
“The Easter Bunny is coming tonight” you smiled at him while you told him this
“Uhhhhh…. I forgot about that” he groaned in annoyance
You get up and grab his hand to pull him off of the couch
“Come on the quicker we get this done the sooner we can go to bed”
The rest of the night you and William walked around strategically placing plastic eggs filled with candy and toys all around the house. Some easy ones and hard ones for Grayson. Ellie was still too young to participate in the egg haunt. You leave out a little blue basket for Grayson to collect all of his eggs into and a note from the Easter bunny saying how many eggs are hidden around the bottom of the house. There are 30
Then you make your way to your room to go to sleep for the night
You wake up to the sound of little footsteps running to your room. You hear the door squeak openand the next thing you know Grayson is on your bed sitting beside you.
“Mommy wake up, the bunny came last night” grayson said in a whisper yell
“really?” you were way too tired to being this engaged in the morning
“Yeah” he was so excited. You were surprised that he was running all around the house with how much energy he had this morning
Grayson crawls over to where his dad is laying and shakes him awake before saying “Dad get up! The easter bunny came last night”
Your husband groans from being woken up. He looks around and sees his son sitting next to him.
“Good morning buddy. Why don’t you go and see if your sister is awake, just be quiet” he says while he puts his son on the ground
You look over at the alarm clock and see that it is only 7:00 you sit up and take a minute to wake up before you look over at your husband
“Good morning my love” you say to him with a smile on his face
“Good morning älskling (darling)” he says leaning over to kiss you and you do the same
You both get out of bed and go and get the kids. When you finally reach the bottom of the staircase grayson takes off in a flash. He runs over towards where the basket is sitting.
Will sits on the couch with Ellie as he tells Grayson that he has to wait for you to come back before he can start the hunt. You go into the kitchen and make yourself and your husband a cup of coffee.
When you get back you see your son patiently waiting for you to return. As soon as you sit with Ellie and Will. then you let Grayson know that he can now go and look for his eggs.
After a while of watching your son look around the first floor of the house he runs over to you “Dad i need help I can’t find the last 3 eggs”
“Ok bud let's look around and see if we can find them” he hands your daughter to you so he can go and help his look around
Once Grayson had found all of his eggs you went into the kitchen to make breakfast while you Will was in the living room entertaining the kids. Once you finished making breakfast you walked into the living room to tell your family it was ready. When you walked in there you saw your husband sitting on the ground with his daughter laying beside him chewing on a chew toy for teething with Pablo right beside her. He was also playing car’s with your son surrounded by all the open eggs and chocolate all over the place.
Will was a great dad and a loving husband and you had never found your husband more attractive in your life but you had also never loved him more than when you saw him like this with your kids.

You had given birth to your daughter Jade 11 months ago and you had never been happier. You didn’t know how to be parents but you were figuring it out together
It was around 7:30pm when you were trying to get Jade to bed. Lucky for you Jade was an amazing sleeper and she went to bed almost as soon as you put her down. Tonight was no different. You sat on the rocking chair in her bedroom and read her a story before bed. While you were reading the story Joe walked in
“Hello Beautiful” he said to you as he walked into Jade’s bedroom
“Hey” you said closing the book to get your daughter to bed
As you get up Joe comes over to grab Jade from your hands
“How is my favourite daughter” he asks you but looks at Jade when he says it
“She's tired. That's for sure” you respond for her
Joe walks over towards Jade's bed and places her down on her back. He was rubbing Jade’s stomach to make her fall asleep. You walk over to say goodnight to her. You give her a kiss on the forehead and then you walk out of her room. You walk downstairs, sit on the couch and turn on the TV so you can watch your show
Joe waits until Jade has fallen asleep before he leaves the room. Once he has left the room he makes his way to your bedroom to grab the baby monitor so you can keep an eye on your daughter while you are downstairs. Once he grabs the monitor he makes his way downstairs but before he can make his way to the living room where his wife is watching Tv he goes into the Kitchen to make a tea for his wife
Once he finishes making his wife a tea he heads into the living room to give it to you and to come and sit on the couch with you.
“Hey, how’d she go down once I left?” you asked him, super tired. Even though it was only 8:00 you could go to bed right now.
“she went down fine” he sat down with a yawn escaping his mouth to show his tiredness
“That's good” once he gets comfortable on the couch you cuddle up with your husband. You were so comfy with your blanket and the comfort of your husband's chest that you wish you could stay like this for the rest of the night.
You lay there together for another hour and then you make your way towards your bed for the night.
The next morning you wake up to the sound of your daughter getting up through the baby monitor. It was 8am which was a little later than she normally got up so you got to sleep in a little bit more than you normally did. Usually whoever got up first would go and get Jade but today she woke the both of you up. You offered to go and get her because Joe had a game tonight and he needed all the energy that he could get to perform well tonight.
You sit yourself up and stretch before you get out of bed to make your way towards your daughter's room. You open the door and see her standing up waiting for someone to get her out of her crib. You walk over to her bed and she reaches her arms out for you to pick her up. You pick her up and give her a big hug and a kiss on the cheek.
“Good morning sweetheart” you say to your daughter staying in your hug for a little longer to let the feeling last
You quickly change her diaper before you make your way downstairs. Once you get downstairs you put Jade down in her play area so you can make your way to the kitchen to make yourself a tea. You sit with Jade in her play area enjoying her company as you sip your tea.
You hear distant footsteps coming from behind you. You immediately turn around to find your husband coming down the stairs with a sleepy look on his face and than you make eye contact with him
He runs his hands over his face hoping that will help him wake up but I didn't do much. He moves his hands from his eyes and looks up to see the love of his life looking at her. He walks over to you and gives you a kiss
“Good morning beautiful” he says to you and if you didn’t know already you could have told that he had just woken up because of the sound of his morning voice
“Good morning. I am going to make some breakfast before you head to the gym. Are you ok to watch Jade while I do that” you ask him knowing that he would have been okay with it
“Of course” he says as he walks over to where Jade is playing and he sits on the floor. You make your way into the kitchen and make a nice filling breakfast for you and your husband to eat while also making some breakfast for Jade. The entire time you are making breakfast you hear the majestic sound of your daughter's laughter coming from the other room. It was the best sound you have ever heard.
You set everything on the kitchen table then make your way to where your family was. When you walked into the room you saw your husband playing with our daughter and some of the things he was doing made her laugh. You stood there for a coupe minutes just enjoying everything that was happening until your daughter started staring at you and your husband looked behind him to see you.
“Breakfast is ready” you tell him and then you make your way back into the kitchen
“We are coming” he says grabbing Jade and bringing her with him
When Joe comes into the kitchen he places Jade in her highchair and you put her food in front of her so she could eat. While she was eating you and Joe also started eating as well. Once you finish Joe gets ready to go to the gym while you and Jade hang around and get stuff done around the house.
It has been a couple of hours and it is now dinner time. You, Joe and Jade all eat dinner before you get in the car and drive to Joe’s game. Once you get there Joe goes to the locker room while you and Jade wait outside where they do the fistbumps. You and jade are both matching as you are both wearing Woll jerseys.
Once Joe comes out of the locker room he finds you and takes off his goalie mask so he can give jade a kiss on the cheek before he makes his way out onto the ice.
It was during warmups when Mitch and Wiliam came over and were trying to make Jade laugh which they were succeeding at. Jade loved all the guys on the team except for Auston. Everytime she sees Auston she cries and turns away. A couple of minutes later once William and Mitch had left Joe comes over and plays peek-a-boo with jade for a little bit before he goes back to warming up.
After the game when you got home Joe changed jade into her pyjamas and he also changed into his pyjamas. you went and took a shower leaving Joe and Jade laying on your bed cuddled together. When you finished your shower you walked out into your bedroom and you see the two of them have fallen asleep on your bed. You change into your pyjamas and get into bed cuddling up to your husband and your daughter. You have never been more in love with your husband for how he treats you and your daughter but you have also never been happier than when you get to be around the little family you have created and you can’t wait to expand it.

You got to the Scotiabank Arena and you both got out of the car
“I am going to go meet up with the guys. I will meet you outside the locker room after the game.” MItch said to you eager to go and meet his teammates
“Ok. Good luck.” You tell Mitch
You both go your separate ways. You manage to make your way towards your seat. You are sitting right in front of the ice and you can see all of the players warming up. You look around and notice that everyone is wearing similar clothes to you which is good because you don’t want to stand out. You are wearing a Marner jersey and some jeans.
You are looking around and you see your brother and he is talking to one of his teammates.
He is taller than your brother. You think around 6 feet. He has amazing brown hair and the most beautiful light green eyes you have ever seen. You could stare at them all day long. He looks really familiar but you have no idea who he is. All you know is that the back of his jersey says Knies
Even though your brother has played for the Maple Leafs for 9 years you still don’t know everyone's names. Just the ones you have met so while you are waiting you decide to search up the Maple Leafs roster to see if you could figure out who the guy you saw earlier was. You are looking for someone with the last name Knies.
His name is Matthew Knies
You look up from your phone and you make eye contact with your brother and smile at him but he looks away and ignores you like the annoying older brother that he is.
Knies look at you. You were distracted on your phone but all he saw was the most gorgeous woman he had ever seen. She had long luscious light brown hair with blue eyes that looked like the ocean. He could have stared at you forever if he could.
Matthew Knies walks over to his teammate William Nylander to ask him a question.
“Hey you see the girl over there? She has light brown hair and she is wearing a Marner jersey.” Knies asked with curiosity
“Yeah, what about her?” Nyander said confused
“She is gorgeous. Definitely the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my entire life” Knies said not being able to take his eyes off her
Nylander signs, not wanting to disappoint him “Do you not know who that is?” Nylander asked
“No should I?”
“Dude thats Mitch’s little sister ” Nylander tells him
Kines thought his teammate was messing with him because how could the one person he has ever found interest in his teammate's little sister. Who by the way he has made really clear is off limits
“Actually” Knies was in disbelief and sadness
“Yeah” William felt really bad for telling Matthew this because of how sad he sounded about if
The buzzer reminded them that warmups were over and that they were about to start the game. It would be a good distraction for Matthew anyway.
It wasn’t a good distraction. He actually played worse because he couldn’t stop thinking about you.
It was halfway through the second period and all you could think about was the brunette haired guy you saw earlier and how amazing he looked.
The game ended 5-1 and the Blue Jackets won. You waited until almost everyone left before you started to make your way towards the locker room.
You made your way to where Mitch had told you to meet him after the game
You had been waiting there forever for your brother for forever and you knew it took a long time for players to get out of the locker room, however you had seen many of his teammates leave and you wanted to know how much longer he was going to be, so you decided to text him.

He didn’t answer which was normal. He usually ignored your messages anyway. Especially when he was at the rink
You decide to just scroll on your phone while you wait for him.
Out of the corner of your eye you see someone very familiar. The brunette haired guy from earlier that evening walking towards you.
“Hi, I don't think we have met before. I am Matthew.” the sound of curiosity and excitement in his voice finally being able to talk to you.
“Nice to meet you, I am y/n. Mitch’s sister.” you immediately regret adding that last part in because you didn’t want everyone to know you as just Mitch’s little sister. You wanted them to know you as y/n Marner
Your brother had walked out as if he knew you said his name
“y/n you ready to go?” he asked, sounding eager to leave. Most likely because he wanted to go home and see his wife and dog. He also probably wanted to sleep as he had been playing hockey all night

“It was nice to meet you Matthew. I will see you around.”

You made your way to the car and you and your brother were talked a little bit about the hockey game you had just watched but other than that you didn’t speak much because of how tired you both were
You got home and said good night to Mitch and Steph with zeus following your every move. That dog loved you more than Mitch did. You made your way upstairs and then you went straight to bed.
The next morning you woke up around 9am, got out of bed and went downstairs to make yourself a coffee. When you get downstairs you notice that it is eerily quiet. No sign of Steph or your brother anywhere. The only thing you hear is the sound of Zeus’ footsteps on the floor.
You decide to take advantage of the nice quiet house and you make yourself some breakfast and tidy up a little bit before you go and get ready for the day.
You are sitting on the couch watching TV with Zeus cuddled up next to you when you get a call from your brother
“Hello?” you answer
“Hey, one of my teammates is coming to pick something up in like 10 minutes. It should be in the kitchen. Can you let him in?”
Zeus’ head whips up and his tail starts wagging at the sounds of Mitch’s voice
“Yeah sure” a little bit of annoyance in your voice. Why would your brother invite someone over if he wasn’t even going to be there to let them in
“Thanks” he sounded really appreciative
“No problem. Where are you?” you asked curiously
“Steph and I are just at the grocery store” There was something in the way that he said that made it sound almost like he didn’t want to be there and would have rather been at home.
“Ok. Let me know when you are on your way home. See you later, drive safely please.”
“I will. Thanks. See you later”
It has been around 10 minutes when you hear a knock on the front door.
You tilt your head up annoyed because you were really comfortable on the couch and didn’t want to move but you got up anyway and went to answer the door. When you open it you see someone you weren’t expecting to see.

“Hi, I am here to pick something up from your brother” he said looking around to see if he could see Mitch anywhere
“He’s not here right now but he said that it was in the kitchen if you want to come in and get it” you move out of the way to let him come inside and close the door behind him.
“Ok. Thank you” he walked in after you moved and made his way into the front hall of the house
You show him the way to the kitchen and there is a bag of hockey stuff sitting on the floor
“So how come I haven’t seen you before last night?” Matthew asked with curiosity hiding behind his eyes
“I am usually working on hockey nights so I never really have time to come to my brother's games. I do go when I can though.” you say
“That makes sense” he says sounding like he actually understands what you mean
He waits a couple of seconds before he asks
“I do have another question to ask you.” there was a hint of eagerness making itself known behind his voice
“Yeah what’s up” you asked very intrigued on what he was going to ask you about
“Just wondering why do you live with Mitch and Steph?” He genuinely wanted to know the answer to this. You could tell by the way that he was looking at you and the way that he was paying attention to your every move
“My brother asked me to live with him before Steph and him were married. Mitch and I have always been really close, we would hang out every second that we could before I moved in with him. So he just thought it made more sense for me to move in here” you made your way over to the couch while you are talking and you take a seat next to Zeus
“That was really sweet of him” he said while he was following you to the couch to sit next to you and Zeus
You and Matthew both laugh at something that Zeus had done. You were having the most fun you had, had in a while but the butterflies in your stomach didn’t seem to make themselves go unnoticed
You and Matthew ended up talking for what feels like forever but was really only an hour
“I should probably get going but I really enjoyed talking to you” he may have told you that he should get going but his eyes were telling you something that was completely different. They were telling you that he didn’t want to leave and he wanted to stay
“I really enjoyed talking to you too” It was true, you really did enjoy talking to him. You wish you could talk to him for hours everyday
Your conversation gets interrupted by a text from your brother
Mitch♥️: We should be home in around 5-10 minutes
“My brother is going to be home in 5-10 minutes if you want you can wait until he gets home so you can see him” You told Matthew hoping he would say yes as you didn’t want him to go home
He sighed “I wish I could but I really should get going”
“Oh ok” you say a little disappointed because you were really enjoying your time with him and you wanted him to stay longer
“How about I give you my number and that way you can text me anytime you want to talk” he sounded so confident asking for your number. It's almost like he has done this before. That thought made you really nervous
“Ok” you say, giving him your phone. You had never been more happier that he was asking for your number
After he puts his number in you walk him towards the front door and say goodbye to him you then make your way back to the comfortable spot on the couch where you were sitting before Matthew came over.

“Yes I would love too” you answer trying not to sound too excited even though you were over filled with joy. You would have never imagined that the man you were obsessing over for weeks had finally asked you out after months of endless hanging out and talking.
It's been three months and you and Matthew had gone on a couple of dates before the two of you had finally decided to make it official.
You were keeping your relationship a secret for now. It has been really difficult to hide it from your brother but you are too scared to tell him because you don't want him to get mad at you or Matthew.

“Don’t worry. No one will know” he tells you as he kisses the top of your forehead which makes your heart beat out of your chest
You stay with Matthew a little longer before you decide to head home
When you walk through the door you see Steph and Mitch Sitting on the couch with Zeus, Zeus' head swings in your direction and when he sees you he jumps up to come and greet you. He was so excited to see you
“Where have you been?” he asks you, sounding so much like a protective older brother. You had never seen this side of him before
“Nowhere” you tell him feeling terrible of what you were hiding from him but still feeling like you need some privacy
“You have been gone a lot more than you usually are” curiosity and anger filling his voice as he spoke
“I was just hanging out with Stella” you lied to him before but never this badly. There was so much guilt floating around all over
“Oh really? Then why did Stella come by asking if you are ok because you hadn’t been answering her texts” he was furious that you lied to him. You could see it in his eyes and his body language but you could especially hear it in the tone of his voice
You stay quiet because you don’t know what to say
“y/n where have you been going everyday and who have you been hanging out with?” he asks you with the concerned older brother voice that only comes out when it needs to
“None of your business” you tell him before you storm upstairs going through a mixture of feelings
“Y/N GET BACK HERE. DON'T WALK AWAY FROM ME WHEN I AM TALKING TO YOU!” He screamed after you with anger lingering in his voice
You don’t listen and continue your way upstairs. You needed to get to your room before tears started streaming from your eyes and they heard you crying
You go into your room and change into your pajamas fighting back tears, than you hear a knock on your door
“Who is it?” you ask hoping it wasn’t your brother. You don’t think you could stand to see his face without breaking into tears and wanting to throw a pillow at him
“Steph” she answers her voice soft and comforting like it normally was
“Come in” you sigh with relief at the sound of her voice
She comes in, closes the door and makes her way toward your bed and sits down while you are putting things away around your room
“Can I talk to you?” she asks you hoping you would stop walking around so she could talk face to face with her
“Yeah, what's up?” You said, you were a little confused because you didn’t know why she was asking to talk. You thought that was why she came in here in the first place
You stop moving and turn around to face her
“Your brother is just concerned about you. You two have always had a really close relationship and he just wants to know what is happening in his little sisters life” she tells you
“I know but he doesn’t need to know everything that happens in my life” you tell her
“I get it but he is just feeling a little left out” she gestures for you to sit on your bed beside her
You answer her by walking over to your bed and sitting down “I guess that makes sense. It's just I am scared to tell him where I have been because I don’t want him to over react.”
“You will never know how he will react if you don’t give him a chance” the sound of her voice is so reassuring
“I just don’t know how to tell him about my boyfriend” you said before you could think and you instantly regretting it
“Oh no.I shouldn’t have told you that” you say out loud
“Oh hunny I already knew.” she tells you
“What do you mean you knew” you sound confused
“Remember I was young and in love too”
“Then why haven’t you told my brother”

You laugh and then stop
You are taken back by that statement. It takes you a couple of seconds before you can answer her “how did you know it was Matthew”
“I see the way you look at each other and the way you smile every time a message from him pops up on your phone’” The way that she answers you is like she has experience this exact feeling before
You are too stunned to speak
“He really is” you smile at what you said and all you could picture was Matt in your head
You and Steph talk for a while before you decide to go to bed
It’s game day and you are driving with your brother to the arena. When you get there you go and find your seat. You are sitting just as close to the glass as you were a couple of months ago.
You watched the entire game looking around for Matthew. He didn’t score any goals but he did get two assists along with your brother got an assist as well.
The game ended 7-2 leafs and you were so excited for the team. You made your way down towards the locker room after everyone had left the stadium.
You were waiting for your brother when you saw Matthew walk out of the locker room . You run over to him and give him a big hug and congratulate him on the win
“Congrats Matty” the sound of your voice muffled from speaking against his chest
“Thanks babe” he says with a smile on his face wrapping his arms around you
Before you have a minute to think of where you are or who may be around you reach up to give him a kiss on the lips .
You immediately pull away when you hear the sound of your brothers voice
“What the fuck is going on here!” you could tell that there was betrayal and sadness in his eyes and in the sound of betrayal as well as anger in his voice
“It’s not what it looks like” you tell him knowing that it is exactly what it looks like
“Really? Because it looks like you were just kissing one of my best friends and teammate!” he said in a soft screaming voice probably because we were in a public place and he didn’t want to cause a scene
“Ok maybe it is what it looks like but he isn’t just your best friend and teammate. While I mean he is but he is also my boyfriend” you tell him so proud that you said it out loud especially to your brother
“I can't, I can’t hear this right now. I am going to find another way home. I need some time to process this ” he was a little flustered almost like he didn’t know what to do. He probably didn’t, you are his only sister and you have never really hidden a relationship or anything from him before
He walks away angry. You figured that it would be really awkward to go home right now so you asked Matthew if you could stay at his place for a little bit. At least until your brother is ready to talk about Matthew and your relationship
You had been staying at Matthew’s place for a couple of weeks. It had been the most difficult couple of weeks of your life your brother hadn’t been answering any of his texts or calls. He was like your best friend and it really hurt not being able to talk to him
Suddenly your phone pops up with a text from a very familiar name Mitch♥️ You stare at you phone in shock before you open the message
Mitch♥️:Hey, I think I am ready to talk now. Are you and Matt free?
You: Yeah. we are at Matt’s place if you want to swing by

10 minutes pass and there is a knock on the front door
You get off of the couch and make your way towards the door to let Mitch in.
“Hi” Mitch says sounding excited to see you after a long time of not talking
“Hi” you respond with the same amount of excitement to see him
“Do you want me to go and get Matthew?” you ask him gesturing your hand upstairs where Matt was laying on his bed
“No I was hoping I could talk to you first” he sounded a little nervous to be there but that didn’t stop him from being here
“Ok. what did you want to talk about?” you move out of the way and you walk towards the living room and sit on the couch
He walked inside after you, closed the door and started walking towards the couch to sit next to you before he asked “Why didn’t you tell me about you and Matt?”
“Because i was too scared that you would be mad” you respond knowing that was only half of the truth and the other part was that it was still new and you didn’t want everyone to know about the two of you
“Oh y/n I wouldn’t have gotten mad at you for that. Matt is such a good guy but if I am being honest I was a little bit more mad that you didn’t tell me about the two of you”
“I am sorry” you were holding back tears. You didn’t know why this was such a difficult thing to talk about. In a way you almost felt like you were disappointing him even though that wasn't true
“You don’t have to apologize. I just got worried about you. I just want you to be able to talk to me about anything” his voice softened when he spoke to you
“I promise from now on I will tell you everything” you were hoping that this would be true but you were going to try and keep your promise
There is a moment of pause before he asked you “Are you happy y/n”
“Yeah I really am” a big smile forming across your face as memories of you and matthew flood in your mind
“Are you sure?” he asked you a second time just to make sure that you weren't lying to him
“Yes, I am sure” you nod in agreement to your answer
“Ok. come here” he said opening his arms and waving his hand for you to give him a hug
Your brother gave the best hugs and you missed them so much.
After you too finish hugging Mitch asks if you can go and get Mathew. You go get Matthew from his room then you and Matthew walk into the living room together
“y/n can Matt and I talk. Just the two of us please?” he asked you hoping you would say yes
“Yes. As long as you aren’t too mean to him” you joke and smile at Matthew and Mitch
You walk away and go upstairs to Matt’s room wondering what the two of them are talking about downstairs
“Do you love my sister?” Mitch asked Matthew once you left. Sounding genuinely curious on what his answer was going to be but Mitch also wanted to know if Matthew was going to break your heart
“Yes. I do” he tried to fight a smile from forming on his face but the smile won. He was so in love with you that if anything were to happen between the two of you he would be heartbroken
“Don’t break her heart because there are a lot of people out there who love her just as much as I do and there would be nowhere you could go that we wouldn’t find you” he warned trying to prove a point to Matt
“Don’t worry. I won’t break her heart” he said confident in his answer knowing he would never do anything to hurt you
