from the fanworks i've seen and even the wiki, Lightspeed as an episode (and Flinx) has been misunderstood for years. wdym y'all's conclusion is "Jinx left her REAL FRIENDS for some guy she just met and had a crush on" ???

bro, the implication the entire episode had was that the only one that listened to her, who wanted the best for her the entire time, wasn't her own teammates or even the adult she looked up to, but some superhero who she first met.

they forgot the detail that nobody sided with her about joining the Brotherhood or at the very least doing something villainously productive with their lives after graduation. Billy outright mocked the idea right in front of everyone and not even See-More defended her, some (implied) crush that is, lol.

like, Jinx had all the right to leave, that environment was toxic and unsupportive; she didn't owe anyone anything.

It's been a lot, I wont lie

I wont say much on the topic because a lot of people said their statements n such and I dont have much of anything to add. I dont condone what they did, and as of right now my considers are on my friends and my finances. A.B and animatics was my main constant flow of income, and now I can't cover my Testosterone with new income, so now I gotta look for new art jobs I am afraid.

I hope everyone of my friends and new friends are doing ok during all this
