Hello my fellow bloggers! I’ve been told by a few of my friends that blogging is actually a lot more fun than it looks. So far, they’ve proven to be right. I’m not exactly sure what I’m supposed to write about, seeing as I have no children and I’m not pregnant (at least I hope I’m not). I guess I’ll figure it out as I go along. I’ll start by telling you guys a bit about myself.

My name is Mattie Winslow, and I just turned 22. I’m in a relationship with my sweet, hilarious, kind hearted boyfriend, Ashton McDamara. We’ve been dating for eight months. We live together on a small island, called Sunlit Tides. It’s sunny year round, and its arguably the most beautiful place on Earth.

I grew up in Sunlit Tides with two older brothers (Owen and Park) and a younger sister (Lia). When I was 10, my younger brother and sister were born. Having a large family definitely had its perks; there was always someone to play with, and we were rarely bored. On the other hand, the house was always loud, and I didn’t get a lot of alone time. Owen had friends over at all times of the day, so on top of never having privacy, we never had food or an available tv. I grew up very close with all of my brothers and sisters though; I consider them my best friends. I hope to have children someday, not now, but eventually. I hope for them to be as close as my siblings and I are.
