These are my final 5 Infographic Posters. I decided in the end to go a minimal design with a couple of colours per poster. Instead of using dark colours i decided to use bright colours even though i wanted to originally used black, white and grey. I did this because i though it would look to dark and daunting to take in for a wide range of people. I think colour will attract more attention and interest. I used the same image for each spacecraft for each poster except for the launch site because a lot of them launched from the same location. I used the same image for each one because it creates continuity and people therefore can associate each one with another and learn about each spacecraft easily because they know which is which.

Crack Heads /

These are some more of my favourites heads because of the idea behind them. The facial features are still visible but there aren't as many as real faces. I like this because you can still make out the fact that it is a face. Also even though they’re smashed and separate pieces it still is a shape of a head making it easier to see what they are.

Mad Heads /

For these heads i drew and painted them on paper and scanned them to create a flat image. I like these because of the abstract look they have and the bright colours look nice.

Line Heads /

These heads were made by drawing them and using an app on my phone i photographed each one and it creates an image where the pencil lines become black lines. Putting them into illustrator and thats that.

Letter Heads /

These heads were made in the print room using mono printing swell. Using shapes and at least one letter per face i printed simple but facially recognisable images. I scanned them and using Adobe Photoshop i added an effect using Hue/Saturation and making each one as unique as possible i changed the colour and made them appear to have a neon effect which i think looks nice and is different to my other designs.

Dead Heads /

These heads are some of my favourite because of the style i used. I like the rough and sketchy look because i think it suits it really well. It makes them look messed up like zombies would be. The black and white also adds to this too. To make these i drew them in pencil and scanned them to put into Adobe Illustrator. I then used my graphics tablet to draw over the scan and i purposefully used many lines to make up each face to create a rigid and sketchy effect.

Black Heads /

These heads were made using a mono printing on a piece of paper. I then drew these half faces inspired by shadow on a face and drew them on the back of the paper, and cutting them out. Also adding little cut outs to make the faces more clear with eyes, lips and nose features, trying to make each one as unique as possible. I then scanned them and this is the final result. I am pleased with how most of them turned out the only problem being that some of them had a bit too much white showing through the paint form the paper behind making it more difficult to see the face clearly.

This images shows someone using the touch screen wall to check weather, new and other information that would save them time when at work or on a commute to work. Adding this to a educational environment means that people can save time travelling or finding out info that they may otherwise have to find out over a long period of time meaning that they lose work or even leisure time.

These small and more personal interactive screen are for a similar purpose. Including the library and travel features. These would also feature games and little brain excesises for people to use when on long breaks between lectures and sessions. It would also be a quick and easy way to send work to the printer to be printed rather than logging into a computer.

A wall that is entirely a screen and you are able to use with your finger. Multiple people can use the wall at one time and use to browse the internet, search and request and sign out books from the library. Also there will be train, tram and bus times for the local transport near by. This will give people more time to work or do more important things that wait at the station or stop waiting. And the use of the library would be much simpler and quicker because you wouldn't need to search the shelves for the book.

This example of infographics looks good to me because i like the minimalism and the use of only 2 to 3 colours overall. This could be a could inspiration for a couple of ideas of what my infographics will be about. Like distance, mission type, launch location, etc.

This design is a big inspiration for the launch location idea i have. I like the spaciousness of this and the minimal use of colour and shapes.

My idea for a infographic about how far the spacecrafts are from the earth or Sun can get inspiration from this design. It would be very similar though but i think it would be a good representation and it would be easily understood by many people.

This gave me an idea for the materials idea i had. Showing what each spacecraft was mainly made of. The images of each craft sectioned into specific sizes that represent a material used to make it. With a percentage next to it and the material name.

This was an inspiration for the materials in each spacecraft. With a sectioned off image of a spacecraft with it labelled with material names and how much of the craft is actually made of that material.
