Organizing my email inbox was only the beginning. Going stir crazy in quarantine led me to assess my digital archive last week. I know videographers have it way worse... Taking the time to transfer my work to faster drives vs older USB 2.0 and FW800 hard drives was worth the labor and peace of mind. Today is my 9 year work anniversary of starting my freelance career. It is always feast or famine. Today is also a reminder of where I started: $0 income, 1 $170 Paycheck from Staples , $125 checking account balance, and no savings account. The economy was just barely getting out of “The Great Recession”. 2011 I generated $7700 in 9 Months. I put in the work networking through email or social media.August 22, 2014 I paid off my student loan debt and credit card debt. The lean times taught me how to stretch a dollar and be thankful for what I’ve had all along: God, family, friends and clients who believed in me every step of the way.
