This summer I worked on some designs for the water bottles, pint glasses, and t-shirts for Yosemite Facelift, a super rad event that takes place in Yosemite each year. Thousands of people gather to pick up trash around the park and give back to such an amazing place. I worked on most on most of the final designs from my camp spot near Mt. Baker, drawing them out both on my makeshift table, and inside the car when it was raining. Six months later, I took the swag back to the park on my visit, grabbing a few snowy pictures at the spots that inspired the drawing, minus Half Dome, which was nowhere to be found.

The current routine every few weeks is to pack my gear and food Friday night, load it in my car Saturday morning and head off to work for the day. When the clock strikes 6:30 I punch the destination in the GPS and head on my way. Last weeks trip was to Yosemite for a short jaunt up the Upper Yosemite Falls trail for a camp spot with good views, some drawing, as well a day jog over to the summit of El Cap before returning to the Bay.
