Make sure to save these tips for your own trip to Yosemite! 🥰 After we shared a list of the most exciting places to see and things to do in Yosemite in our last post, we are posting a follow-up today, including which season is best for visiting based on your preferences! 🤗 👉 WHEN TO VISIT YOSEMITE Yosemite is a totally different experience depending on the season you’re visiting. 🌷 The most popular (but also most packed) season for visiting Yosemite is spring – everything is blooming, and all the waterfalls, rivers, and lakes are at peak due to melting ice. Spectacular views guaranteed! ☀️ Summer can get quite hot at times and it’s still packed, but the weather will mostly be great and water levels in the park are still pretty high! 🍁 We’ve seen Yosemite in both spring and fall and loved it! The downside of fall season is that the waterfalls aren’t flowing as beautifully as they do in spring and summer – but the park is way more quiet, the chances of seeing wildlife are great, the weather is still amazing, and the fall foliage is absolutely mesmerizing! Keep in mind that fall is fire season in California though, which might lead to postponing your trip. ❄️ During winter season it can be difficult to reach the park at times due to road closures. The same holds for a lot of hikes and access to viewpoints inside the park.
