It's been an interesting start to the year 2015. The ‪#‎stripemarlin‬ are tardy; but we've tagged a few, the ‪#‎shortbilledspearfish‬ are around along with ‪#‎ono‬, ‪#‎mahimahi‬, ‪#‎ahi‬. On our bottom fishing trips we've gotten into the ‪#‎ulua‬ and ‪#‎uku‬. Here's a highlight of some of the catch we've been lucky to enjoy. We all know, you can't catch 'em sittin' on the couch! ‪#‎sportfishing‬ ‪#‎maui‬ ‪#‎lahaina‬ ‪#‎hawaii‬

Fishing is always a good way to spend quality time with your Pops and when the fishing's good it makes for an even better memory and stories. JUST IN: Pictured here is first mate Chris and the #shortbilledspearfish that was landed with Captain Jason, aboard the Start Me Up Again. With their luck and knowledge, their angler successfully fought this fish, winning the battle. This is the first #spearfish for 2015. Way to fire guys! #sportfishing #maui #lahaina #hawaii

JUST IN! Captain Jason and first mate Chris aboard the Start Me Up "Again" trolled the waters and hit the right spot at the right time. An estimated 250lb #pacificbluemarlin struck the line of angler Sean's rod and the fight was on! First marlin of the year has been hooked from the #maui waters! #sportfishing #maui  #lahaina #hawaii Who's to say you can't catch marlin in the winter!?

This awesome group of anglers had a blast on the water with Captain Timster and first mate Kiser. They took a private charter out on the troll and landed some #kawakawa and #mahimahi. #sportfishing #maui #lahaina #hawaii #dorado

This group took an early morning trip to the FAD bouy's and came home with a few nice #ulua, #uku, #kawakawa, #shibi and #mahimahi. A nice spread for the BBQ or perhaps a fish fry! #sportfishing #maui #lahaina #hawaii

They turned their trip into a combination, bottom fishing and sportfishing, and came up with these 4 species; #kawakawa, #uku #mahimahi #bluelinesnapper.
