The champions of Orlando

Looking at these dorks. I’ve been playing so much breath of the wild lately it has taken over my life (again...dammit) But I’m looking for a group of friends/second family for my character Ephraim. But what I’m thinking is these are a group of people who met who are all looking to change/save the world for the better in their own ways. Ephraim is a lawyer who works for the civil rights division of his father's law firm. What the others do is up to you whether they are doctors, firefighters, other lawyers, activists, artists, or anything else you can think of who can change the world for the better. I would love for their personalities to lightly match their corresponding champions but its not like a requirement. These are just super basic things that I think of when I think of them but Ephraim is revali the cocky asshole who has a heart of god. Urbosa is the big sister who protects everyone. Daruk is the loveable warrior. Mipha is the sweet healer. Link is the quiet strength and Zelda is the linchpin who keeps them all together. Ephraim Finner - 27- Lawyer

For the first five years of your life your parents were happy they were always busy but they loved each other. But then your father got a new job in Orlando and your mother was pregnant again. She was just starting to make partner in her firm and she didn’t want to leave New York. But when she found out she was having another baby she made the decision to move to Florida where your father was getting the opportunity to start his own division. Once settled into your new much much bigger home with an actual nanny your mother had your sibling. It wasn’t love at first sight this little thing had invaded your home and all it did was cry and poop and take your mother’s attention. But then when your sibling was about a year old and you woke up one Thursday morning and your mother was gone. You were used to her at least being there while you were eating your cereal in the morning. You went into your siblings room and watched them in their crib and you knew that it was just going to be the two of you from then on.

As you started school and started getting older your father started dating around and spending more time in the bottle and out and about but he always seemed to be getting his work done. But he wasn’t spending time with the two kids he had at home. The only constant in your life was your sibling and the nanny he had kept on. He began dating younger and younger women. They would be a revolving door of blond hair, tan skin, big boobs at your dinner table or in your pool. They never really made an effort to get to know you, so you didn’t know them, you just ignored them and moved on with your life. Until when you were eleven he married one. Delilah was young enough to be your older sister. You brooded through the 103 degree afternoon standing up besides your father in front of all his colleagues and friends, the perfect son when all you could think about was your mother a thousand miles away who you haven’t heard from since the moment she left. You hold your siblings hand through the ceremony and are ferreted away as soon as the pictures are taken and dinner has been served. Delilah is nice enough but she is home about as much as your father is but she usually returns with bags or a bandage.

It’s really just you and your sibling again the world, you take care of them the way a parent should. You watch over them and they come to you when they scrape their knee or have a bad dream. The older you get the more you realize how much your father has changed from the hard working good man you thought he was when you were little. He is still the news fighting for others but he has little for no time for his own children. You start to hate the way he treats the women in his life, like objects instead of human beings. By the time you're eighteen and looking at colleges he has had two more wives and a slew of women who never stay. He never has enough time and he treats them in a way that makes you throw up in your mouth when you're around them. It's by now that you know you want to be a lawyer just like your father. You might hate him but you love what he does. You love to try to read his case files when he's not looking. You want to change the world to be the superhero he never was. You know you are going to have to work for him when this is all over if you want to go where you want to. You know that he is one of the best in the country and of course you want to be the best.

You go to one of the best colleges in the country. You are so happy to be away from Orlando but you miss your sibling worried that they are out and on your own. But you call everyday to check in and you flourish in college you meet some great people whom you love. They become your second family. You spend Thanksgiving with your best friends' family and it's during your freshman year that you fall in love for the first time. She becomes everything to you. It's like a fairy tale and you are sure you are going to marry this girl and settle down in Orlando as far from your childhood home as you can get. You tell your father all this one night when you're home for the holidays your third year when he has dragged you out with him now that you're “a man”. He laughs as you tell him this as he drags you into a strip club. You are repulsed the moment you're there you try to ignore what's going on around you but there is one girl right about your age who catches your eye, she's beautiful and you can see your father likes her too but you look the other way and hope this night is over as fast as possible. You're sure she is going to be your father's new girlfriend before the month is up but when he moves onto someone else you forget the pretty girl and go back to your perfect life.

Or at least you thought it was until three weeks before you graduate law school waiting for you in the fall you find the “love of your life” in bed with the professor you thought of as a friend and mentor. You get out of there as soon as possible heartbroken and unable to focus. You move out of the apartment you share, unwilling and unable to listen to either explanations. You just move on not sure if you will ever be able to trust anyone again. So you throw yourself into your studies and spending time at the bar, sleeping with anything that shows you some interest. You know you are becoming like your father but you can’t find it in yourself to care.

Law school is grueling and hard and you spend all your time studying or working at your internship. You graduate third in your class and then you're moving back to Orlando, your father offering you an associates job and you take it. You buy your little house near the office and make sure your sibling is doing well offering them a room but they turn you down. So you're on your own and you're shocked when you get to your first day and the paralegal working with your father is the pretty girl from that strip club night all those years ago.

You remember her and she is nothing like you thought she would be. She is rough and hard and she pushes your buttons in all the ways you like but hate at the same time. She's smart as a whip smarter than probably even you. So you have no idea why she isn't in law school or college doing something with her life. You tell her this over and over hoping that you'll get through to her but you don’t. Instead you fall into bed with her, all it took was one night getting drinks after work and one too many sharp words passed between the two of you and you’re hooking up. You regret almost instantly she works for your father and you have to see her everyday. She is nothing like what you usually go for and she drives you insane but there is something about this girl that you can’t get out of your head.

Ephraim Finner- 723 Windsor Drive - 3BR 3BA - South Orlando

Located in an up and coming neighborhood in Lake Nora in South Orlando. Ephraim purchased this house two years ago with the money in his trust fund when he started working at Finner & CO law offices. The house is far enough away to his childhood home that he dosn't need to go there, but close enough that he can go if he needs too. It is only a ten minute drive to the office so when he goes in at 5am and leaves at 11pm he only has a short way to go.
