I need to go back to my roots and watch more Central Asian films. This Kyrgyz film was truly radiant. Still remains as one of my favorites

And that indeed was what is seemed to be β a mysterious double of her own face, but a thousand times dearer, because she knew, without needing a mirror to tell her that, on certain days (when, for example, Madameβs mockery suddenly searched out the painful spot and the terrible flush βrose to her cheeks and her chin trembled before she started to sob) she hated and despised her face.
