When I first read The Sunshine Court, I genuinely thought Jean should have stayed with the Foxes. (And I still see people saying that to this day.)

I liked the Trojans, but all I could think about were my Foxes. I literally screamed every time one of the Foxes was mentioned, and I was so happy when Neil showed up, even though it hurt like hell, lol.

But by the time I finished The Golden Raven, I had truly fallen in love with the Trojans themselves. And now I understand that they were the best possible team for Jean. Jean is someone who managed to keep his kind heart despite everything life did to break him. He's such a genuinely gentle soul, and with the Trojans, he finally found people who surrounded him with the care he had always deserved.

The Foxes, traumatized as they all were, could never have given him that. The Trojans did, and it helped Jean begin to heal in just a few months. Jean with the Ravens and Jean with the Trojans feel like two completely different people.

I'm so glad Nora kept Jean alive and sent him to the Golden Court. The Trojans will be my love. Always.

I know Nora made Kevin and Thea, the two biggest career-driven workaholics in the books, have a kid just to make Wymack a grandfather, but I can't prove it

I really love the moments in Jean's book where he doesn't understand the meaning of a word or doesn't know how to say something in English, so he asks someone for help. I love how patient and kind everyone is, explaining it with synonyms or examples instead of making him feel embarrassed. As someone whose first language isn't English, I so feel Jean in moments like this. It's such a small detail, but I rarely see it in books

Why don’t I see anyone talking about the fact that in The Golden Raven Andrew started letting Aaron drive his car?

Sure, you could say it's only because Andrew had a broken collarbone and Neil had broken ribs. But Andrew could've asked Renee or Nicky, just like he did before. Instead, he let Aaron drive.

I just love that it's such a small detail, but it says so much about how much their relationship has improved.

(Which means Kevin is now the only Monster Andrew has never let drive his car lol. Then again, I doubt he cares anymore now that he has a car of his own)

Jeremy became the first person who seriously worried about Kevin's health.

Not whether he would be the best player in the sport. Not whether he would put the Ravens in their place.

He worried about what would happen to Kevin in the long-term. The way he pushed himself through every practice. The way he trained even at night. The consequences all of that would have years from now.

And Jeremy wasn't worried about Kevin's career. He was worried about Kevin himself.

And he didn't just worry. He actually tried to do something about it. He tried to get through to Kevin. He even tracked down Neil's phone number.

Because Jeremy knows that the Trojans will look out for Jean. The Trojans, with their healthy approach to life. The Trojans, who will help him, guide him, and stop him if he starts running himself into the ground.

And because Jeremy exactly knows that nobody cares what happens to Kevin as long as he keeps shining like an Exy star.

Oh my God, even back then it was Kevin and Jeremy. It was always Kevin and Jeremy. The three of them make SO MUCH sense together. God, Nora, why would you do this to me if you were not going to give them to us?

If Neil found out the names of the other men who raped Andrew, he'd probably order a couple more murders.

If Aaron found out, he'd spend a full minute staring blankly into space before walking up to Katelyn and saying, "Well, I guess I really am going to prison for murder this time."

Lol Neil and Kevin are literally two stalker besties. They both had entire fan folders full of photos and articles about their crushes. Neil collected everything about Kevin (and Riko), while Kevin had about Jeremy. And neither of them knows about the other’s. Kevin still doesn’t know how obsessed Neil was with him. It’d be a little embarrassing if he opened that folder during the Christmas holidays haha

It feels kind of crazy and amazing that Kevin became friends with Jeremy back when he was still on the Ravens. He’s actually been friends with him longer than with anyone from the Foxes. The Trojans are the complete opposite of the Ravens, and yet Kevin was always their biggest fan. He never even tried to hide it. And this was all before his hand injury, before he transferred to the Foxes — back when he still thought and genuinely believed he wanted to play for the Ravens and become a champion alongside Riko. I feel like that says a lot about Kevin. He really was never meant to be a Raven.
