People usually give Maturin all the credit for "helping" the Losers, when he doesn't really do much more than offer a little guidance and moral support, and that's all (which isn't insignificant).

The real power behind the supernatural ordering of things so that magic works, and the one who gives the Losers the ability to truly harm Pennywise, is another character who is literally God, lol.

But that is more than understandable, since it has not been adapted to film or television nor to Maturin, much less to Gan hahaha and obviously I also came to believe that Maturin was the true being more powerful than Pennywise (when there are indications that both have very similar or even equal power, something I will talk about much later).

Hello!! I'm studying Cultural Studies as my Master's and I'm doing a case study about how the horror movies "It" (2017 & 2019) can bring comfort and be relatable to its viewers. I made an anonymous survey to conduct further research and I'll be glad if you could spare some minutes to fill it out!!

Dear video essay creators. A video analysis is when you analyze a piece of media. No no look at me. A summary, no matter how thorough, is not an analysis. An analysis requires you to draw conclusions about the media such as authorial intent, real-world parallels, discussion about themes/worldbuilding/character motivation, and so much more.
