STUDIO SESSIONS → M&M
He tells her to come inside because he’s still wrapping a track up. Max had probably been to the studio a total of three times and even then, it was a quick hello and a plate of food. There was no doubt that his girl took care of him and treated him like he meant everything to her and that’s why whatever chance he got, he’d make the best of it. Max was his future and he wanted to remind her just how much she meant to him.
There’s a knock on the door and he knows it’s Max, making sure everything is in place, he opens the door and flashes her a small smile. “Before you come in, I don’t want you clownin and shit. I know how you can get babe and I tried my best aight?” he swings the door open and extends his arm out as to say ‘Ta-da’. He’s a bit nervous but it’s only because he’s afraid it’s ‘too cheesy’. “So? Whadda ya think? Not to bad, right?”
It's not that Max doesn't like visiting her boyfriend at work. It just doesn't happen often and so this is almost entirely new territory for her. It's quiet in the building and that's new for Max too. Whenever she's come around before, it's always been loud. Talking, laughing, music. She would never think a studio would be a quiet place to work...ever.
Marcus is so excited when he opens the door that Max knows something else is up. He's working on something big or he's getting a promotion or...
He set up a picnic in the studio for them. That could be it too.
She's not quite sure why he chose his workplace for a romantic night but she won't complain, not when they get so little time together as it is. And the place does look nice. "It's great, baby. I didn't know you had it in you." But she's leaning up to kiss him even as she teases, moving into the room.
