ok we are all aware that the kingdom of sky before the storm came in was like uber capitalism hell (darkstone mining, the mantas as seen in aurora's concert, the condition of the poor in the two embers, etc). we all know that right. but are we not going to consider how sky children perpetuate that cycle? sure, we aren't mining the darkstone or chopping down the trees. we're not doing anything blatantly obvious.

but we restore the technology set in place by those who came before us. we use darkstone switches to open our gates. we use items eerily similar in appearance to memory lanterns and darkstone crystals to create those shared spaces and recorded memories. we slave away every day for money until we are exhausted and then throw it all away on whatever "new" product is offered to us via the traveling spirits or iaps, afraid that we will be outcasts if we do not get what everyone else is getting. we sacrifice our lives, over and over again, for a god who does not seem to have cared that the king abused the light, and is punishing us for his mistakes, rewarding us with more money for doing her bidding, thus perpetuating the cycle.

the children of light are creatures of imitation, but we are not just imitating the emotions shown to us by the spirits of the past. we are actively imitating the society they lived in. we are slowly but surely perpetuating that cycle of abuse.

Y sí, la verdad cuando te encuentras a alguien que habla tu mismo idioma en un fandom mayormente angloparlante es como "heey, te entiendo, me entiendes, que chido!"

Sigue así Serene, de verdad amo tus dibujos, estás haciendo un gran gran trabajo, tómate el tiempo de vez en cuando de ver tus obras de arte como si fueras tu misma hace unos 5 años, te sorprenderás de lo mucho que has avanzado y quizas tu yo del pasado te de una palmadita en la espalda y te diga "bien hecho"
