|| " seoul lonely " youngji + soohyun
In a cold night in a middle of Autumn, when the wind blows uncontrollably, Youngji walks home after such a tiring day. She had a lot of works to do for her next movie project, the work in the cafe was just more hectic than usual. She didn't know why. She then walked herself to her place in the Blue Mansion. She felt that she haven't greet all of all the people there and somehow she wanted to do it so badly.
Seoul can be so cold sometimes, she thought.
She then took out her mp3 player then played a random song. Some songs came out as she played it in a shuffle mode. And then PHANTOM's song "Seoul Lonely" played. She sighed. She missed her parents indeed. Her parents are in Incheon while she is now studying at a big university in Seoul. Back then, she could always ask to her parents about what to do if something happened. But now, no one will help her. She felt insecure. To add that loneliness, the only person she used to rely left her too. Her previous bestie will get married this December. And she needed to move out and lived by herself for the sake of their privacy.
She sighed. She tightened her jacket as the winds blow on her face. Feel that what people said about Seoul is true. She walked alone with a lot of people walked back and forth. She knew just some people of this big area of Hongdae, she felt that it is not even enough. Hoping that someone can be her bestie at least. But how to... I even didn't know I will be my friend's bestie at the first impression of her....

She followed the other, letting her lead them to a free seat which supposed to be for customers. Placing her mug on the table, she then took a seat across her. “It’s okay. I’m actually quite surprised at the amount of customers on my first day. I didn’t expect it to be packed by people.. Must be the weather, right? I remember getting a lot of orders for hot beverages.”
A soft sigh spilled from her lips at the thought of tomorrow. She expected the same amount of people would be coming back tomorrow, meaning it would be as tiring as today. Not that she wanted to complaint, it’s actually better than having no customer at all. More customers to come means more people get to taste her beverages. She has decided that she would work really hard, in hope one day her boss would let her invent a recipe whether it’s a beverage or a pastry. It would be great if her boss let her sell her creation here though but she shouldn’t hope too much.
Hayoung’s lips curled up into a grin at the girl’s statement. For some people, it might sound like she’s exaggerating since it’s just a cup of hot chocolate but for Hayoung, she clearly understands what the other’s felt. “I’m glad you think so. My mom said chocolate is good for your body since it gives some energy after overworking yourself.” She told the other before taking a sip from her own cup.
Youngji took a seat in one of the table near the cashier counter. Ah... so this is how it feels to sit in here. She never actually sit and have a cup of coffee in the place where she worked at. Surprisingly. It was pretty good and comfortable actually. The surrounding fits the definition of 'cozy' for herself. After having a quick thought, she then listened and the girl's answer in front of her. "Well, it's usually not that crowded. Maybe people know that there's a new girl here so...," she smiled and decided not to continue her words and ended it with a shrug.
"I will try this now. And make sure that it is just tastes as good as the smell." said Youngji while squinting her eyes playfully at Stella. She sip the chocolate drink that smell very good to her. She actually have a high expectation on this drink. She enjoys drinking chocolate more than coffee, so she put a lot of expectation in their new barista's masterpiece. She blinked for a while try to describe what kind of feeling she felt when drank it.
"Hmmm....," she tilted her head to the side and somehow she wanted to stopped herself for imagining about something about her childhood. "It tastes wonderful. What this drink called? It's not on the menu, right?" asked her as her curiosity peaked up once again.

☢ Describe a thought or dream that would cause them to have a mental meltdown.
Probably when Youngji has a lot of deadlines that put her in her limit, she would have a dream that is terrible which made her having a mental meltdown. The type of dream about the people she loved missing one by one.
☆ || answered this one already here!
εжз What about nature do they find calming? What about nature do they find disagreeable?
Youngji will find that waterfall and a wide grassfield to be calming but there are none of that in Hongdae. And she doesn't find that an environment without people who care for each other is an agreeable nature.
☆
Would they ever wish upon a falling star? If so, what would they wish?
Youngji believes in this kind of thing. So of course she will wish upon a falling star. She believed it since she was a little child and she wish to really see one in the future. She will wish for her parent's health at first, and then she indeed wish for a bright future on her. Especially hoping that she will be a famous movie director in the future.

The history of Korea started wiith several numbers of dynasty. But one of the greatest is the Joseon dynasty with The Great King Sejong as our topic for today's public lecture...
A girl with ponytail and bang just play with her pen between her fingers as she felt bored with the topic of today's public lecture which she needs to take for this semester because she missed this class last semester. There are a lot of studentss in the class from various faculties. From engineering to fine arts, they are all there. She couldn't stand herself to keep opening her eyes during the lecture because she went home late last night. She knows that knowing history is important but her eyes weren't nice today to her. She just shrugged it off, tried to make herself not to closed her eyes because it will just be an embarrassing moment if she fell asleep.
It took half an hour for Youngji to stayed awake. She jotted down some of the important things during the lecture with her heavy eyes. There will be a project for the whole semester that if she does it well, she can get a straight A. She needs to work in pair to make papers from various references which is quite easy for her but if she decides to be a diligent one. She looked around and found that people already got their partner while she just confused on who is she going to be with. All of her friends from her year already took this class so she has no one with her.
As soon as the class dismissed, she still couldn't get someone to be with her. She put all of her things which is scattered on her table before spotted someone familiar. Oh? She squinted her eyes to get a better look. It was her highschool friend. She never thought that they will meet her now. She moved to UK at her 2nd year in highschool. A wide smile quickly appeared and she stood up right away to approached her. She patted her shoulder before grinning widely as the girl turned her head to Youngji "Lizzy! This is you, right? I'm not dreaming???" asked Youngji with a hightone voice as she is too excited to met her long-lost friend.

As the girl walked in, she just realized that her shift is over for today because the Cafe has closed, which explained why the other was here. She shook her head slightly, still wearing the same smile as before. “No, no it’s okay. I just didn’t expect someone to walk in. I didn’t realize the Cafe has closed. I was just getting something to drink. Oh and it’s pleasure to meet you, Youngji-ssi.”
A soft chuckles spills from her lips at the other’s reaction toward the cup in her hand. Even though Stella understands why would the other acts like that, it just amuses her. It was her who acted like that when her mom made her a cup of Chocolat Chaud when she was a kid. The sweet scent of chocolate would always brighten her up after a bad day or a tiring day. Not only that chocolate could give you some energy whenever you are too tired or when your overwork yourself, one of the reason why the beverages is one of her favorites.
Stella slightly nodded her head at the other’s request, placing her mug in the table. “There’s actually some left from what I just made. I’ll pour it for you.” Luckily for her, she made it for two cups. She would feel bad if she made the other waits and her cup would cool off as well which wouldn’t turned out nice. She grabbed another mug and pour the rest of Chocolat Chaud to it before handing the cup to her co-worker. After that she grabbed her own cup. “Let’s sit and talk.” She grinned before taking a sip from her cup.
When she heard what the girl said, she felt relieved then she put her hand on her heart, signed that she felt relieved with that statement of her. She smiled again at the girl. "Well, then that's a relieved. I'm sorry I couldn't talked to you during the work because it was just too hecttic today,"
She then felt weird with the girl's expression. Why is she chuckling like that? Am I looked like I'm joking or something... she thought. She then looked at the girl poured the chocolate to a mug. She smiled brightly at the sight of the chocolate being poured. It seriously looked delicious. She couldn't deny it and found out why the boss accepted her to worked in the cafe.
It didn't take so long until she handed her the mug. She took the mug and can felt that the scent was just right in front of her. "Thanks a lot," she chirped lightly before nodding at the girl's suggestion. She lightly tugs her to in front of the cashier counter to the place where the customer sit. "You know what? This drink looks just wonderful like.. It spoils all the five sense of mine"

It was Stella’s first day of working in the Cafe that she just recently applied to and get accepted. She was more than glad to be given the barista position. It wasn’t new to her since she has practiced on making beverages that would suit with various type of pastries and chocolates that she has made when she was helping her parents’ Pâtisserie when she was in New York. For a first day, it was quite tiring for her since she didn’t expect the cafe to be packed with lots of customers who would order whether a glass or a few glasses of hot beverages. Must be the weather. She thought to herself when the day finally ends.
Since her boss allowed her to have only a cup of beverages or pastry a day, she decides to make some Chocolate Chaud for herself. She got the ingredients that she needed, after that she started by melting the chocolate in a perfect temperature. Once the chocolate has melted completely, she pours it to a metal board and start doing tempering. tempering is one of the skill that Stella could brag to people when it comes to making chocolate. Having a professional chocolatier as her mom, Stella has practiced doing this thing at young age. She hummed softly while doing her work. Once everything is done, she pours the hot beverages to the nearest mug she could grab.
Her lips curled up into a smile at the sweet scent of chocolate. She was about to take a sip from her cup when a voice startled her. She jumped a bit, but still making sure not to spill anything before turning around to where the voice came from only to found one of her co-workers that her boss introduced her to before she worked. She flashed the girl a bright smiled. “Yes? How may I help you…uh…” she glanced at the other’s name tag, feeling a bit guilty for not remembering the other’s name. “Youngji-ssi.”
The sight of her co-worker startled at her voice made her feel bad for a moment. She didn't know Stella just had a drink then she bows a bit, "I-I don't mean to surprised you!" said Youngji as she step inside the room. She blinked her eyes when Stella called her name. "Ah, yes, let me introduce myself again, I'm Heo Youngji"
She then looked at the cup Stella was holding. She blinked before approached her and quickly scent the smell of sweet chocolate then pointed at it. Somehow she could taste the sweetness by just smelling the sweet scent that almost filled the room. "Could I get something like that too, please?", asked Youngji with a bright smile. "And then maybe we can sit in the table for a while? You're not busy, aren't you?"
She then felt bad after a second for showering the co-worker which is still a stranger for her with tons of questions, she just ended up grinned and rubs the back of her neck in embarassment.

After such a tiring day of work, Youngji could finally able to take some breath. One windy day in the autumn brought so many people to come inside the cafe to get some warmness. Youngji then took off her dark green apron with a smile on her face, she peeked inside and realized that the new girl was there. Curiousity has peaked inside her head again, she felt eager to get to know her.
Today, her boss introduced her to a girl named Stella. She is a new girl who will work along with her starting from today. She wanted to know her as soon as they met but she couldn't really do that because of bunches of customers that kept come and go which made her keep on bustling around the cafe. She then decided to closed down the cafe first before getting to know her new work partner. She rushed to the door and turn the "open" sign to "closed". She rushed back to peeked before taking a deep breath.
Here you go, Youngji.
She cleared her throat, tried to get her attention, "Hello... Stella ssi!"
discovering a new world ↣ [chorong & youngji]
Chorong squinted her eyes, trying to get a better look of where the voice originated from. When she didn’t have a clear vision, she ripped the sunglasses off of her face and walked closer. But slowly, so that she didn’t ruin the scene that was unravelling in front of her. There it was, a petite figure hanging over an even smaller girl, embracing her tightly. It was clear that tears were rolling down the little girl’s face, but no intense wailing. It seemed like the older one was trying to comfort the younger one with her pure voice.
Chorong knew that it was a voice that needed to be showcased at her cafe. Infinite Love is a cafe that allows local talent to reach out and get their name out there amongst the crowd. Once in a while, there would be the occasional entertainment representative who would look on to scout some potential. She even knew some wo debuted through her cafe, but she wasn’t allowed to say who. The community of Hongdae would also support them, sometimes asking her when they would be coming back. She loved giving back to the city of Hongdae, as it was a place that became her second home when she needed it.
She didn’t want to disturb the whole thing, so she looked on, waiting patiently and sipping on her coffee, which was pretty much a mess now since all of the ice melted in there. She leaned against the nearest slide, with hers calmly shut, and her ears eagerly taking in the melody. She tapped her feet gently against the ground, moving to the beat. Until she heard silence, and the world unmuted itself again. After a second of realisation, she opened her slowly, to find the potential singer looking back at her.
Youngji kept on singing while looking right into the little girl's watery eyes. She made sure she give the little girl her sweetest smile. Inside, she hoped that what she did can make her calm down a bit. As soon as she finished the song, she smiled even wider. For a second, she thought that the little girl will continue to cry, but she was wrong. The corner of her lips moved up and formed a shy smile. But something disturbed her when the little girl looked at another direction. She blinked then turned her head as well.
She looked at a girl with a cup of coffee and a sunglasses in her hand. She leaned on a slide calmly since Youngji didn't know when. She studied her face for a while because the girl closed her eyes. She personally thought that she is such a beautiful young lady. But why she's there? Youngji made sure that she wasn't there when she approached the little girl. Perhaps... she is this kid's mom?! She thought. But she quickly shrugs it off her mind since she thought that the girl is too young to have a child.
Finally the girl opened her eyes then Youngji felt a bit nervous, she cleared her throat before stood up and hold the little girl's hand. Youngji approached the girl slowly, "Excuse me. Is... this child your younger sister, Miss? Do you come to pick her up?" Youngji asked the girl a question before she felt that the girl tugging on her hand and shook her head.
Dang. I'm wrong.
Youngji then shot the girl a embarrassed grin and just rub the back of her neck.
discovering a new world ↣ [chorong & youngji]
The sun was close to hitting its lowest point. The breeze started to cool down and people who usually lived the nocturnal life, started to come out of their shells. Chorong was having her usual stroll down the street, an iced hazelnut mocha in one hand, while her phone was held in the other. Through her black Ray-bans, she saw couples hold each other tightly, walking with their intertwined hands swinging in between them, and chatter calmly as they watched the sun set.
Chorong was envious. She wished that someone was there by her side too, doing all the romantic shit she saw in rom-com movies. She wanted to feel the warm presence of someone she knew she was able to lean on. But then again, the one guy she had in her mind, would never return the feelings to her. As she was immeresed in her own bubble of loneliness, she took out her earphones, readying herself to listen to her usual afternoon playlist.
That was until she heard something that pulled her in. She turned to her right, and saw a playground that was filled with rowdy kids and their mothers call out to them to go home. But to Chorong, that was all muted. All she heard was a sweet melody. A warm tone. It was the voice of talent that made her heart flutter.
The sounds of kids whining to their mom can be heard from the playground. Youngji just got back home after doing a movie project with her classmate. She decided to go home to clean herself before go to her part-time work. She doesn't like the sticky feelings after school keep staying on her body when she does her job.
She then looked around the playground as she walk by, some of the kids whining to their mom to keep playing on the playground. Some are saying goodbyes to their friends but there is one little girl standing and sobbing by herself. She then blinks confusedly before finally approached her. The girl cried loudly when Youngji scooted down to her level, "Hey little girl, why are you crying?" asked Youngji while patting the girl's head. The little girl said that she tripped on her own foot. The older girl's eyes widden then checks on her knees. Yes. The bruise is right there on her knee. "Wait a moment," she said. She takes out a Pororo bandaid and put it on her knees. "It's better, right?"
Unfortunately, the girl is still crying. Youngji bit her lower lip as she thinks on what should she does with her. She can't really left her alone, she then takes a deep breathe and sings "If I Were". Somehow she believed that song will makes her calm like what her favorite actor, Joowon, did on the medical drama she watched.

"Starry, starry night~ Paint your palette blue and gray~"
Don McLean's Vincent is heard from an old radio inside the Thanks Nature cafe. The girl with a high-bun and dark green apron bobs her head along the beat. She enjoys this song the most since the cafe will close soon and no one there already, so she decides to play this song. She used to hear this song anytime she and her parents have a trip to Yeosu by car. But a noise from the wooden clock suddenly distract her mind. She looks up at the clock which is hanging on the wall. She squints her eyes a bit before nodding, "Ah... time to go home," she thought before turning off the radio and takes off the apron.
As soon as she finished her part-time job, she then goes out the cafe and locks the door. She looks around and see that the road is still full with teenager spending their Friday night together with their fellow and couple. She sighs a bit, somehow she envy them. She needs to work until night but she can't really complain on that and she doesn't have a plan to complain so.
She actually might as well go to her place at the Blue Mansion but she has that strange feeling to not just go straight to her place. She then looks around and find herself walking past the street food stalls which makes her bite her lower lip at the thought of the taste. She walks alone like a lost puppy with her eyes keep on eyeing the food until she realize she almost bump into someone when she turns her head away from the food.
